The Muppets- is it just me?

Maybe it's because I've been up since 3:00 with a migraine. Maybe it's because I don't have any children. Maybe it's because the Muppets weren't around when I was a child, back in the covered wagon days.

But I find them over the top irritating. We had on Good Morning America today and on every segment, there were the Muppets. Sitting at the anchor desk next to the anchors (I don't envision "cute". I envision some guys sitting on the floor next to me working the puppet). Singing with Dolly Parton. They were everywhere. I left the room. Whenever they show up on GMA, they're everywhere.


Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
