I read your original post about the accident & I've been watching for updates. I am so sorry to hear that Irma succumbed to her injuries. I know in the area where I was raised it was a ticketable offense that incurred a fine if a vehicle, yours or anyone else's was blocking the sidewalk & it was strictly enforced. Maybe now it will become such in your neighborhood but it's a shame that someone had to die for it to happen.

Oh, so sorry to hear that!  Poor soul. Hope they get that situation fixed ASAP so no one else gets hurt. I was wondering about that. That's so sad, thanks for the update.

I read your original post and was hoping and praying with others that Irma would survive her injuries.  Alas, this was not to be and I am so very sorry  for her family, you and the entire neighborhood.

As others have mentioned, it's about time the local authorities address the issue of blocking sidewalks.  I really hope some good comes out of this tradegy.

Darn!  I was hoping for a recovery, and a happy ending to this story.  I am just so sorry this happened!  I think the best thing you can do besides support the family, is change the law on your block, and see justice without malice is carried forward
