I just watched an Officer and a Gentlemen. Sigh, how dreamy is Richard Gere in that movie? He is still dreamy too! lol. From time to time this Summer I've been re- watching his movies (for the millionth time), when nothing is on tv.

Gere has aged very well indeed. His hair is gorgeous, now silver.
And for a real tearjerker where he also looks fabulous: Autumn in New York.

I particularly love the movies he has done with Diane Lane.

That is one movie I have never watched. I think I am the only person on the planet that hasn't. I would like to see it but everytime I catch it on tv it is usually almost over.

He's definitely gotten better with age. I love the movie he's in with
Susan Sarandon as his wife. He secretly takes dancing lessons
from a very serious Jennifer Lopez. My favorite scene is where,
dressed up in a tux, he surprises his wife at the store where
she works, and dances with her. I don't know why, but this
always brings tears to my eyes!

Oh my -- I loved this movie! He was so cute in it, too!

I have had a crush on Richard Gere forever. Just so handsome. Loved all his movies. I think Officer and a Gentleman is still my favorite.

I agree about how well he has aged. Still handsome as ever. Sue the movie you were referring to is Shall We Dance. I love that movie also. I was just happy that he stayed true to his wife and the tux scene is one of my favorites also. I too choke up every time I see that scene.

Ohhhh, I LOVED Unfaithful! Diane Lane should have received an Oscar for the scene she did on the train after her tryst with Loverboy, so believable! ![]()
