As if Shaun's ego wasn't big enough. She is constantly looking at herself in the mirror, comes up missing as she wants to check herself out in the room around the corner, and she spends more time putting makeup on herself than she does explaining it to customers. Her confidence is already off the charts.

Her shows should be retitled "It Is Great to Be Shawn".

I'm speculating here .... but I'm guessing that QVC has had enough focus group feedback to know most people generally think of them as a resource for "older" women.
Statistically, perhaps their "average" customer is late 60's or thereabouts?
The Boomers are a large population bulge and have money to spend.
While I can't imagine QVC trying to attract people in their 20s and 30s, if they could add people in their 50s to their customer base, it would mean a LOT to their bottom line.
Well, we shall see ........

Wasn't there a Thread recently about which demographic QVC was gearing to? I suppose QVC answered our question.

That's really weird that they want visitors to Vegas to watch QVC. I've been there many times & stayed at different hotels & have never seen QVC on any hotel channel. They want you spending at the casino, shows, restraunts, Vegas shops not inside watching tv.
Of course, you could watch on your phone, tablet, computer.

Interesting they arrived at 50 as the threshold. Gimmick. This campaign will have no bearing on what I spend.
Here's a new show idea: The over 50 and fabulous club saves Christmas, Spring, Summer, etc....

I saw US Weekly magazine in the library and there was a QVC Over 50 banner on the top of the front cover. It said sponsored, because obviously QVC paid for that ad.

The male population has been alienated for as long as I can remember on the Q. An occasional pair of sneakers, or a random shirt for men and the occasional "tool" or garden hose. They are hemorrhaging money but have chosen to NOT sell to men! There are so many missed opportunities here, where to even begin! Fishing, camping, golfing, tennis, pickleball, clothing, rain gear, boots and shoes, wildlife art, skin care. Infinite, fresh, NEW possibilities and they don't seem interested. They sell the same old items over and over on TV, with new shows on the weekends and reruns all week long. Smh.
