Yesterday gold topped $1900; B of A is predicting $3000 within 18 months!  World economy is in trouble!

Pardon my ignorance on this subject... but does that mean I will get $3000 by turning in an ounce of gold?

@spent2much No but you will get a good portion of it. And I'll add that 14k gold is not all gold as is 24k gold, so it is only a percentage of the $3000.  Like 925 sterling is not all sterling--only a fraction.

That's higher than 2008 when it peaked.  $3000 is quite a prediction, not very believable in 18 months.

Yeah, I done sold off 50% of my gold bangles, earrings, bracelets and did better then I would had got at pawn shops.  One ring, went too

My sister gave me her dead husbands wedding band and some other stuff she was tickled to make 400  .

Stupid to let that stuff sit around when the market is hot as a fire cracker !
