for years i used i believe eye cream because i loved the way it left my lids smooth before applying eye shadow...is there another creme out there that will prep the lids so that my shadow just glides on?? appreciate all opinions thanks..tobi

I don't use an eye cream on my lids, but have you tried using an eye primer before applying shadow? I have several that I like, but my favorite is the Urban Decay Anti-Aging primer. I really like how it makes the shadow last without feeling too dry.

I like Mac Prep+Prime Eye to make shadows glide on. Just a sheer layer & it makes my lids look smoother & my shadows go on nicely.

I just love Algenist Firming and Lifting Eye Gel all over my eye area with Algenist Reconstructing Serum all over the rest of my face as a primer for my makeup. These formulas make my skin smooth as silk and luminous - even when it's washed off, and all of my makeup glides on effortlessly.
