Well, my two RTC waterproof liners have bit the dust.
These are the brown and navy from the last TSV.
Today, I saw they had shrunk down into the wooden part of the pencil. After sharpening and using heat from a hairdryer, the brown would still barely work. It has really dried up. The navy wasn't as bad but not as creamy as before.
I had put the lids on tight after the last time I used either one of them, and now after looking very carefully, the plastic lids are actually cracked vertically.
From my observations, either the crack in the lids caused them to dry up, or the wood used for the pencil is pulling the moisture from the pigment. Perhaps is it a combination of both. Who knows?
I have sharpened both and replaced the plastic lids with new ones.
I hope BE is listening....You need to improve your RTC pencils!
