I would put it on, and my girlfriend would pull on it till she could break the suction. I guess I had broken the blood vessels in my chin, but thank goodness, it didn't affect my lips. The next morning the discoloration was still there. Oh my goodness, LOL, how awful (but very funny too). Your parents sound just like mine. They would have made me go to school like that too, definitely.

I think I had my mishap during the summer though, so I was lucky. Smiley Happy
