YAWN! Not a single new scent. I'm getting a little tired of Philosophy reconfiguring sets of the same old, same old and calling it "new". Could they have at least come out with something truly new for a TSV?

I just ordered it and I'm very excited to receive it! I've only tried 2 of the 12 before and this gives me a great opportunity to try the other 10! I love to change products all the time, but that's too expensive to do with full size products. This set is perfect!

As we discussed here last week, there is no monetary value in this set at all, just a good way to try different scents or to give as little gifts. But, this is same price as if you were buying the usual 16 oz sizes at their regular price, you can do the math.

I am so tempted to buy this TSV. It seems like a good value, but then again, I need to stop spending over $80 here and there on items I don't have to have.
I like the configuration, and I have tried all of them except the Sugar Plum, Lemon Custard, and Cucumber Basil.
They would be great at Christmas to gift, but so far I've resisted. I need to stay strong and resist the urge to buy, buy, buy!

Shel belle - please show me the math.....I don't see how what you are saying can be true......

OK, here is the math
Today you are getting a total of 72 oz, for $80, the 16 oz sizes sell for $18, that comes to $81 for a total of 72 oz, the TSV savings is a whopping $1 over the regular price.

Clearly the only incentive to buy the TSV (at least IMHO) is if you want to try the different scents. Otherwise, like with so many recent TSV's, not much of a "special value". Sad.

Sorry---but your calculation is credible IF you are ONY interested in having soap. It misses the point! You are getting 12 DIFFERENT scents---which is the point. With your numbers, you'd need to spend $216 ($18 x 12). The Q is even more reasonable than this by using a 6 oz size/price for comparison --which equates to about $130 as I recall. You are just wrong.

My math is 100% correct, as I stated it is fine if you want to try different scents, but my math is right on target, and I do recognize the point of trying different scents and having nice gift options. There is never any great value in buying 6 oz sizes, always overpriced from the start. If you think I am wrong, you are deluding yourself since you probably are wanting to purchase it, which is fine too. .
