This is a great scent.  Very refreshing with a hint of clove. I always thought this body wash smelled like a gingerbread cookie until Shawn described the scent.   This is a scent that lasts when you are washing yourself in the shower.  A winner!  HeartCat Wink

This and Lemon Custard are my favorites! I also ordered this after hearing Shawn describe it smelling like ginger ale. I love it!  I will say that right now in my shower is Snowman, and I really like it also. It’s a clean smell.

Re: Gingerbread Man Body Wash

I think the name and color of Gingerbread Man are misleading.  I don't think it smells anything like gingerbread.  And that's why I never purchased it until I tried the lotion at a friend's house.  I think it smells like fresh ginger which I love!  And the color amber is on the masculine side.  I think Philosophy should change the color.  And they should sell it and the body lotion all year.  But for some reason they make it out to be a holiday scent.

@walkingal,  You are absolutely right.  I did not purchase at first because I thought it smelled like a cookie.  When Shawn described it, I purchased it.  Yes, the color should be more in line with gingerale.  Strange on philosophy's part.

This product always smelled like ginger ale, but since the company was sold it IMO is not as moisturizing or as fragrant as before.

Re: Gingerbread Man Body Wash

I just ordered the duo! I’ve never tried Gingerbread Man & was going to order the single. However, the duo is a much better buy, so for the money it makes more sense, especially with free shipping this weekend. SCORE!!

@SurferWife Been wanting to try the duo (much prefer to have a matching body cream)and was waiting to see if they would offer it with free shipping.  As soon as I saw that I ordered it too!

Re: Gingerbread Man Body Wash

I finally broke down and purchased this and now it's become by one of my favorites. I love it. The scent is indescribable to me. I think it should be sold year round. I think I will be re-ordering me a second set just to make it last.
