A pilates machine has been on my wish list for awhile, and this year I am making the plunge. There are several models that I am considering; my requirements are a rebounder and a stand. I know that those can be bought separately as well as being included in a complete setup. I would like to purchase a sturdy model that glides easily.

I am really intriqued by the 556, http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.F184880.desc.Stamina-AeroPilates-P... . It looks very sturdy, it is the longest of the Stamina machines and that seems to be its major advantage - it is longer for the taller people. I am 5', so I am wondering if the higher price would not really bring me any advantages. Buying this one will involve rearranging my office, it is doable.

Another one is the 700, sold at Amazon (they have the 556, too). http://www.amazon.com/Stamina-AeroPilates-Premier-Reformer-Rebounder/dp/B001EV6JKO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UT... . This a 4 cord version.

QVC has a 5 cord version, without stand, http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.F09090.desc.AeroPilates-5Corded-Ma... .

Is anyone familar with these machines? Can you offer any advice?

Thanks!
