spinal cord stimulation therapy?

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has ever had this procedure done. I have had chronic pain in both of my legs for almost 3 years now. I have tried so many kinds of medication. When I went to the doctors this week he mentioned this to me and he gave me a dvd about the procedure. It sounds like this might help but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this done and if so, what was it like. Thanks in advance for any answers!
