incontinence and perimenopause question

Are there any women here that have experienced poor bladder control during this particular time of their lives? I have researched and understand this is a very typical symptom but I am wondering whether this dissipates or remains once menopause is reached. Just your experience would be helpful to me. I do realize this is a very private matter, so anyone that responds with her own story, I thank you greatly.
