This is just an observation but does it seem like some people are so eager to take something if it's a gummie? That goes for me too. I stopped taking a handful of gummies and started taking he actual capsules or whatever the supplement or vitamin comes in. There are some very knowledgeable people here and I wonder if the gummies are as effective as the capsules or liquid?

I find gummies kind of childish and repulsive.  I don't like the hardened Jello-like texture and would much rather just swallow a pill.  I would never buy them.

OK,, we get Consumer Reports magazine and about a year ago they had a section about these kind of things.  They specifically talked about the gummies that say they have all the veggies and multi-things that our body needs.  The report said that none of these things really work.  And we should not be taking gummies.

So I stopped buying and honestly none of them really worked for me.  I trust studies more than the Q people.

IMHO, I would never take gummies. I wonder how they would dissolve in your system. I take Andrew Lessman capsules that are easy to swallow and have worked for me. Andrew Lessman has stated he would never make gummies. All these so called professionals/doctors, I wonder if they actually do extensive studies on what they sell. It  just makes me question their claims.

It's the inaccuracy of ingredients found in gummies that makes them unreliable when it comes to some vitamins and minerals where pills/capsules would provide specific amounts of nutrients that need precision dosing. Gummies also have a shorter shelf life than caps and pills. Other than that gummies are okay for some nutrients but not all and are an option for people who have trouble swallowing. Gummies usually contain smaller amounts of nutrients, depending on the ingredient, per unit which means you need to take more in comparison to caps or pills.

So basically it's mostly about personal preference. One is no better than the other as long as you are comparing similar ingredients and amounts.

ETA-

I looked it up about gummies invention and I read that gummies where primarily invented for kids to get their vitamins in a candy-like form...a gummie.

Um, no, I don't think so.

Most gummies have sugar in them and, to my knowledge, none of Lessman's supplements do.

I still am not clear as to why they started making gummies in the first place.

No interest. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, no meat except chicken but not daily.

I don't eat fried foods, sauces, or any fast food or processed food. Cookies in my kitchen

are Animal crackers and I do have a slice of pizza a few times a year. Don't need gummies from a quack!

I know of 2 people who can not swallow pills. They are a good alternative for those who have this problem.

I take lot of supps, all in caps, no gummies. I have this feeling that they will stick in my teeth and never get to where they need to be. Just my personal thoughts on them.

I take one Mary Ruth's multi-omega gummy each day. No sugar but it contains a very small amount of erythritol and monk fruit for sweetness. Such a small amount that I'm not concerned about that. They're delicious and no aftertaste either. I suck on one like a lozenge until it dissolves so it doesn't get stuck in my teeth from chewing it.
