I would follow up with your primary care physician. I just past out this past Sunday. Out for a couple of minutes. Seen over night in hospital. Couldn't find anything wrong. Checked my heart, blood work, etc. My doc referred me to a cardiologist to see if I ,ight have an intermittant irregular heart beat. Or maybe something else.
But please remember EVERY one is different. It could just be isolated events. Could be nothing. Talk to your regular doctor, they know your history the best. They can answer all of your questions you might have. Pleawe don't let anything we say sway you other than talk to your doctor..

I can only speak to the purpose of compression socks. Their purpose is to help return blood to the heart. That makes sense to me and since your doctor mentioned this, I would certainly try them.
I have had many bouts with passing out and most of them from blood loss, but also Anaphylactic Shock. You have a good start to getting a solution.
My best to you,

I've never heard of "fainting issues" but recommend you do two things:
First, make an appointment with your PCP ... primary care physician. Secondly, do a little research on causes of fainting so when you discuss this with your MD you'll be better informed on what the contributing factors are.
Best case scenario .... it's nothing!
A couple links ..... the second link lists 41 possible conditions!

When I was in the hospital with my lung blood clots(PE) and bleeding colon, I was on a continual IV fluid drip. To help with my legs and feet swelling, what they used were Ted Hose knee length compression socks.
Right now I am wearing 6 pair of over-the-calf, Copper Fit brand. I find them to be much more comfortable and easier to put on and take off. Right now I am wearing them for comfort as at the present I have no such medical issues.
Those are the only 2 brands I have worn. I would think the hospital uses Ted Hose, might be that they may work better for most patients.

Have it checked out. My son fainted once. He was perfectly healthy. They called it vasovagal syncope. You can look it up and see what it is. Its harmless but could be serious if it keeps happening.
