Has anyone tried the Bausch and Laumb eye suppliment? I know it takes 30 days to show affect. I use over the counter drops see an eye Dr , just wondered if these would work. In TN pollen is high, i do take Allegra but my eyes are irritating. Thanks

@matty liz I was going to try it since I have severe dry eye. I checked the ingredients and it contained all the vitamins I aleady take so I decided not to bother. My doctor has finally prescribed drops for me which are starting to help. I've already seen a difference after 2 months. "They" say it will take 6 months to get the full effect. I was miserable before. Best of luck to you.

What did the eye Dr attribute your dry eyes to? Do you have any other symptoms like dry mouth, itching eyes or anything else. Dry eyes can be caused by anything from allergies to autoimmune disease. It's very important to find out. I have Sjogrens and there are no OTC supplements that will help my dry eyes. I'm going to have my tear ducts cauterized in a couple of weeks. Silicone plugs have helped, but they only last so long.

I use Refresh for dry eyes and those work somewhat. Can't review B&L, sorry.
I will say tho' that I find Claritin helps better than Allegra for Irtritable allergy eyes.

@matty liz I've had dry eye for years. My glaucoma drops make it worse. It became more worse after cataract surgery. It's taken me quite a while to convince my doctor to write a prescription. There are a couple of different types of dry eye. One is the tears dry up too fast. Another is the eyes don't produce enough tears. That's one reason why there are different presciption drops. If you can, stay away from drops that take the redness out of your eyes and even allergy drops. They aggrevate dry eye. Lucky me. I have both bad allergies and dry eye.
