Goldie ..... I'm going to be pretty frank here, but you have no idea what you're talking about ..... once you have exhausted all other options, which reputable Orthopedists do .... P.T., 2 different braces, orthotics for my shoes, 2 rounds of Hyalgen and your knee is virtually operating with NO meniscus, bone on bone, which causes the ends of the bones to become jagged (like sharp teeth), and then the kneecap (patella) becomes jagged, you can no longer go up and down steps without major pain, nor get up off of the toilet or a chair ....... then you have no choice but to have the surgery. This is becoming more common because baby boomers, who have been very athletic and active, have damaged their knees beyond what the other options can do.

Hopefully, you will never need to find out what this feels like, but if you do .... I would then love to hear how you feel.
