Hi everyone, I am looking to get back into shape after being very sedentary for the last year due to dealing with a chronic illness. I have had success with home exercise videos in the past and I bought the zumba kit with the sticks that was on informercials around christmas.
Anyway, wondering if anyone who does zumba regularly has any tips for a newbie on how to get into zumba and also into the exercise groove in general after being out for so long (I was previously in very good shape but am now about 50lbs overweight
).
On specific question I ask, is can this be done on carpet? we have both in my house but the room its most convienent to do it has carpet. also, do you just use regular old cross-training type athletic shoes?
TIA!
