Zithromax Warning

I have been battling bronchitis for about 2 months. My Dr. was not on call this past week end, another Dr.prescribed Zithromax anti biotic. In about 3 hours my hearing totally shut down. I thought it was a result of all the congestion I had. I had to go to emergency room next day due to worsening congestion. They gave me prednisone. I checked online about zithromax and sure enough it can effect hearing, in fact there are some law suits. Just saying watch out for side effects. Hopefully my hearing will come back. I see my Dr today.
