How exciting! I love seeing those talented young men on both teams do so well. I'll have to say I was hoping for KC to get the win since they'd not been in many years but, I too am a fan of Mad Bum! He's an NC native (me too and for a mini sec I'll pretend like we're close personal friends..LOL) and signed out of high school. What a talented young man! Congrats to the SF Giants and all the fans!

Agree that it was a great series. Bumgarner's pitching was awesome. What a pitching performance for such an important game. I really wanted to see KC win since they haven't won in quite a while but you have to admire San Francisco for winning 3 championships in 5 years. I am a Boston fan and didn't mind that we were so awful this season. We have been blessed in the Boston area to have won so many championships in all 4 major sports in the past decade. My wish is with the hiring of Joe Maddon in Chicago that he can lead them to compete and win the World Series in the next few years. They haven't won the World Series since 1908. I usually want to see the underdog win the World Series. The two times that Texas was in the World Series I wanted to see them win. It was heartbreaking to see them lose two years in a row.
