Thanks, DrKelli. I've wondered if Defender is sufficient. I read a couple of articles saying there's really no need to dump Kaspersky as there's no evidence of them doing nasty stuff. Who knows?

It hit 100 here today. Ugh. I'm so not into it.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Hi everyone!  I got home from my trip late last night.  Today was doing laundry, some housework, and getting settled.  Monty let me know for about 12 hours that he was not happy I was gone and I'd better not do it again.  I am not exaggerating when I say that cat meowed for almost 12 hours!  Bless his heart, he missed me!  I missed him something awful too tho.  The trip was wonderful and I had a good time.  Saw some beautiful country and lots of castles and old cathedrals, which I love.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Good Friday morning,

Judy I bet that trip was so nice, you must have gotten some really good pictures.  Monty bless his heart, he missed you something terrible!  You better stay put now for a while!

nomless we're having Indian summer too, not that hot thank goodness but 80's and very very muggy!  Your glasses sound cool, I love red glasses.  I have blue eyes too.  I only wear readers but they are very annoying in the store as they are off and on and off and on.  I can't walk  wearing them!!

MickD nice job on TG and nice on being so consistent!

Dr.Kelli, sounds like your small group is really nice and becoming friends is always a plus.  I did some stuff on my reformer yesterday that has me on my toes and my left foot for some reason I can not go onto my toes, my big toe hurts bad, even lunging when your back foot has the heel lifted and your weight is on the ball/toe area hurts my toe.  How was your debut last night?   Wish you could put your classes on youtube, I"d join in  LOL, it wouldn't be pretty but I'd give you a whoop, whoop  Smiley Happy

foxxie haha most of the time I can't remember either!!  I know those days too and we all have them.   I bought a sandwich from a little shop yesterday, turkey pesto pannini and it was so good but it must have had lots of sodium in the turkey, my weight was a tad up today, but I knew it when I got it and I know it's from the sodium in the meat.

I did pilates yesterday, not sure I mentioned that.   Today will do it again, and want to walk.  I just really can't stand the humid conditions.  I even wonder why when we are in the 60's the humidity is in the high 80's, so opening the windows isn't an option unless you want all that in the house and keeping the house closed it gets too warm.  My husband doesnt' want the air conditioner running when its in the 60's and it does raise our electric bill.  It's a window unit, not central air.  Although I did just turn it on because the temp in here is almost the same as the humidity, and I can't deal with it.  Won't leave it on but a little while though.

Lucy we are missing you, what's happening there?   Thinking of you.

Have a good day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Good morning everyone.  Well, it looks like everybody's temperature is going up.  Around 80 is expected here today and by the middle of next week it's expected to be around 87.  Ok, I'll put the blanket away again.

Glad you had a great trip, @JudyL.  You're either exhausted from it or rejuvenated, lol.

So happy to read everyone's informative posts and everyone is well.

I'm doing cardio this morning and maybe some walking.  Enjoy your day ladies.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Good morning all!  We have been almost miserably hot here this week, but we are expecting a nice cool down this weekend.  I may need to throw an afghan on the bed tonight as it will be in the 40s!  In the summer, I sleep with a sheet and a very light bedspread and most of the time, I kick those off.

@bopper, my class went pretty well.  One of the songs that I did, I really got off on one part of it and had to improvise until I caught up and it was pretty obvious that I messed up!  But for the most part, I think every one had a good time and one of the women came up to me in the locker room and told me that it really helped that I clapped out the rhythms and then showed the footwork before we danced to music.  When you are not a fitness professional that does that class every week, it is nerve wracking the first time.  I'm sure I will get better at it though.

I have a personal training session today.  Normally, I switch off boxing and weight training, but today, I am still tired, so I will probably go with the weights (not so much cardio)  Yesterday, I left work about an hour early and went home and took a nap.  The kind of nap that you can hear yourself snoring and you are too tired to do anything about it.

This weekend I've got a bunch of errands to do (boo), but I plan on taking the kids to the dog park both days.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Good morning everyone.  I hope everyone is well. @DrKelli, every instructor messes up sometimes.  We all laugh and keep moving.  It makes the group feel better about our mess ups.

Zumba for me this morning and maybe walking.  The bottoms of my feet have been burning a little lately so it's a big maybe about the walking.

Have a beautiful day!

Welcome home, Judy. Your trip sounds fantastic. How nice that Monty missed you and is enjoying having you back home. I laughed that he scolded you for a good ling time for leaving him.
