Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

I have no idea what happened to my post. nothing would type and then the type size changed . I tried adding and deleting - nothing happened. I couldn't get out of it either.  I hit post at least 3 times!

This is my life with electronics! Right now my regular computer is frozen on email! At least once a week I call IS at work because I have problems with my computer. I will tell you that I hate the electronic medical record! I sure miss my paper and pen!!!

I am getting out of this post while it seems to be working!!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Fridge fixed, some kind of switch broken. Repair guy was hilarious and didnt break the bank.  He said fridges today are all junk, especially LG and Samsung. Ours is  Sears but he says really an Amana with freezer on bottom.

I live right outside Chicago and I'm hoping the Cards win.  We're White Sox fans here (sad this year.)  I was flipping between the Blackhawk raising the Banner last night and my Ghost Hunters show.

Cut my grass and walked Angie today. Hope to do some Gazelle tonight.

Bopper what kind of pupper is Logan?

I hope you all have a great evening and good weekend!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

45 min cardio done.  Foot still hurts.  I'm fed up with it.

This morning I looked into a training facility that offers personalized 1-on-1 training and has great reviews.  I bet such a program would help me a lot.  As expected, it's way beyond my ability to afford.  Dang. I was hoping the price would be a pleasant surprise.

Today some of the trees have turned to yellow.  No reds though.  The tree in front of my living room window has lost all its leaves, it never did change color.

I went to BBB today and got a couple of throw pillows.  Cute ones!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hi, it was a sunny but cool windy day here today.  Our color isn't like it usually is either.  It's yellow and some leaves just turned brown and fell off.  It was from dry summer and hot Fall....we may take a ride on Sunday to check it out though.

Skylark Logan is a Sheltie...he's 4 and he's a handful but I love him so much!  Great company too.  We're Tiger's fans so we didn't do good this season either but I"m really into these playoffs....glad the freezer was an easy fix...

Nomless sorry about that dang foot, so irritating.   I have a clum of maple trees outside my living room and they are all green still....it's so strange.

Tomorrow I think I"ll finish pulling up the flowers and cut the grass for the last time, then I'll be dragging out the "dreaded" shovel!

Hoping everyone not posting is doing well and keeping active! You know who you are, and we miss you!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hi,Bopper, have a good weekend.

I did ClaLean Burn 3 today...

...and I've been busy laundering sheets all day!  The TSV sheets arrived yesterday, so this morning I washed and dried them twice.  That seemed to get rid of most of the lint.  There wasn't any lint flying away when I folded them.  It's too hot to use them, so I decided I might as well wash the sheets that were on the bed.  Then, I might as well wash thec topper, too.  Then since everything is off the bed, this would be a good time to flip the mattress.  Then since the cotton sheets are too cold and I'm too hot if I use a blanket, too, maybe I should try the T-shirt type sheets I have....maybe they'll be just right.  But I haven't used them in a long time, so I'd better wash them first.  LOL....this morning I thought it would take an hour or so to wash and dry the TSV sheets, and here I am 6 hours later, still washing sheets! Crazy, right?  One thing led to another.  But now I have a fresh bed and a few sets of freshly laundered sheets.  Whew!

BTW, I think I'll like the TSV sheets.  They are supremely soft, and I don't think they can pill.  Can't wait for it to get cold enough to use them but it will be a while.  Temp will be close to 90 the next few days!  What's up with that?????

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Morning, I had to post that old fashioned picture, thought it was just peaceful.

Nomless you really had a sheet day!  glad you think the TSV sheets will work for you.  I still love my fleece and they are on the bed now.   I get hot too, have a fan blowing on me.  Maybe you'd like the Jersy sheets as those are the T shirt type of fabric.

Yesterday I didn't do much but a short walk.  In a funk with my son moving away and just felt bla.............

Today we're taking a ride to look at color, and I have some homemade tortellini soup Im bringing to my dad.   Maybe he'd like to come with us on our ride, I"m going to ask him.

the Lions play at 4 so we'll be home in time for that too.

Today is going to be 77, can you believe that, here way up North!   But it won't last long.

Anyway hoping everybodies Sunday is restful and enjoyable!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Bopper, the picture is lovely.   I'm sorry you're sad about your son leaving.   Enjoy your ride to see the colors today and your soup tonight.

Yay....the jersey t-shirt knit sheets are perfect for this transitional weather.  I'm happy I found them in the closet.  Turning the mattress paid off, too....I was very comfortable last night!

I'll do some cario today.
