Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, it was sunny today and about 28, I did 2 trail walks, it's my TG day off.  Back to it tomorrow.

It's deer season here so the men are at hunting camp, I get Hallmark and decorating all by myself  Horray!!!

DrKelli I remember trying to figure out music to play, sometimes it went good and other times it seemed to take me forever to get my music together.  Run run Rudolph is a good one though.

MickD do you have a humidifier?   I think I'll drag mine out now, I usually get the dry throat and a winter cough that drives me nuts as it kicks my asthma up and I don't have asthma unless I get a cold or it's dry in here.  Only thing I don't like about the humidifier is it leaves a terrible white dust everywhere, my water is so hard and the minerals build up so bad I have to scale it down, like with a knife and scrape white ****** off of it...It a royal pain....I don't have filtered water so it's the well tap water that does that.

Well my family is already getting in their usually tizzy about Thanksgiving,,,I'm so over it with them at times.   I want to start my own tradition but then I hear but what about this and what about that and I'm the bad guy because I want to step away from the drama.   Christmas is the exact same thing and last year I said I was doing my own thing with my son and his family.  My other son lives away so we won't be with him on Christmas but does anyone else have this.  It ruins it all.

Okay vent over,,,LOL   dark already,,,ugggggg   Have a nice relaxing evening!

Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

So I am at the gym wondering why no one is here for the start of class including the teacher. Half hour early, Laura! I am losing it!

I am now biking my little heart out. Unexpected early exercise addition. Can you tell it's almost Friday?

I'm watching this girl do her normal run through of a weight routine. Her girlfriends decided to join her today and after one round they went on strike and declared a rest period. LOL

Off to Power!

Good morning all.  Snowed just a bit last night......just long enough to make roads early morning slick.

So my morning workout will  be at home since my Zumba for today is early.  My husband left already with a ⚠️ warning from me.  As he rightly said, it’s not that bad.  Probably true but I’m not ready for slick streets.  I got options, lol.

Have a good day everyone.

ETA:  Just looked out the window and, wow, snow’s coming down now, fast and furious!

Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

Did Power.  The teacher asked if anyone had gone up in weight.  She meant the weight we put on the bars.  The class promptly responded that they had put on weight elsewhere which caused a laugh.

I set up in the front even though I did not see the two offending parties.  I didn't want to take a chance.  We are in the middle of the warmup and all of a sudden a girl comes up next to me with black hair.  I about died.

This is what she did to me in Ride which is why I stopped going because you just can't avoid it when someone does that.

Well, I must be living right this week because it turned out to be someone else.  The guy did show up and set up back where I usually am.  I never saw her though.  Breathed well the whole class.

I crossed some more Christmas and Birthday gifts off my list yesterday.  I am down to one more birthday gift for my mom and I think I am officially done.  Just need them delivered and wrapped and I can sit back and relax and try and enjoy what's left of this wretched year.

Hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

Hey everyone--I did get to yoga yesterday and will of course teach Zumba today.  I was listening and practicing my playlist for December last night and have decided I don't really like it, so back to the drawing board.  Plus, it has some of the first stuff I learned, and I found out that I have forgotten the choreo, so I had to sit down and see if I could remember it and write it down.  Bah.

I was stuck at a HOA meeting last night. I am on the board and of course, most of the meeting was people telling us that we weren't doing a good job--there is a special assessment and it is a lot and it is a long story so I won't bore you.  But by the end of the meeting, we had most of the people in the room on our side.  It is a volunteer board and people act like we're getting paid a boat load of money to make decisions.

Well, this is the time of year we need to double down on our work outs!  I love sweets so this time of year, I do a lot of eating. LOL--I am making a commitment to not miss any more workouts unless I absolutely cannot get to the gym (work commitments).

Hope you all have a great day!

😂. @DrKelli, your last paragraph could have been written by me.  November and December are not for the weak in 🍮 dessert eating.  I have (or had) a t-shirt that said 'Stressed is desserts spelled backwards'.

Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

Good morning all.  Snowed half the day yesterday!

Another day, another plan.  Senior Cardio this morning and maybe go pay for my car registration and then get my emissions test on my car which were my after Zumba plans yesterday.  But yesterday would have been better since Zumba was early so my errands would have been finished by noon.  I love getting stuff done in the morning. Less crowded.
