Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

Hello, I was out the door in dark o'thirty this morning but it's been a dark few days anyways but got some groceries, and did some other errands.   Not too busy but it's good to go early although traffic was bad being that early, I imagine work traffic but lots of big trucks today.  Glad the roads are bare and I'm not worrying about sliding into anyone or vise versa

Taking Logan out now, yesterday I almost wiped out on the trail because it's so wet and there is mud and wet leaves, and I almost went down but caught myself.   Drizzling again today.

MickD so nice to see you.   Hope you get your lights!  They must be selling fast.  I could go nuts in the Christmas departments but I get what I came in for and skadaddle out of there!

I did look for Christmas dishes today but didn't find anything I could afford.  Don't need them either but always wanted some.

Nomless hope your feet aren't hurting today, and remember you don't need "news" to post, you know that you silly!

Okay better get some stuff done here, have a good rest of your day!

Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

I so hope everyone is having a nice day today.  From what I've seen on weather reports, it's a little nippy outside for everyone.  As long as it doesn't snow, I'm good.

We did weight training this morning...doesn't help my Fitbit to register many steps but I guess it's good for the body overall.  I only did a one mile walk today.  Just wasn't feeling like challenging myself that much.

Yesterday, we did almost a whole class of isometrics.  Never did that before.  Surprisingly, my arms were hurting for the rest of the day.  This energizer bunny that we have for an instructor is really good and there's never a dull class with him.  I will admit that sometimes his classes are too advanced for me and I have to ease out of the door to something else, lol.

I hate some chips today.  Why are certain foods so addictive???  Who stole my discipline while I wasn't looking?

Re: Welcome to the November Exercise Thread

Mick, it's good to see you. I wore my Cubs sweatshirt to meet a friend for lunch today. Tons of fun.

I think it's time to put the furry sheets on the bed...we had flurries today! I didn't feel like doing it today, but I will soon.

I had a gift card for Famous Footwear, so I got a pair of shoes not only a size wider, but also a size bigger. Will try them at work tomorrow. They had a BOGO half off sale, so I decided to try another style, too. Fingers crossed one of the two will feel good.

Bopper, I hope you had a good day.
