Morning, quite cold here and a wind chill even! Sunny though so I'll take it. Cleaning and starting to go through my totes of Christmas stuff. Not putting out much this year, too much clutter in a small home.
Has anyone heard from Iluvlucy? I'm very worried. I have messaged her several times on FB and no response. I have been praying nothing is going on with DS, DH, Lucy, I just don't know. It's very odd not to even have a response from her. I think the last thing we talked about was the TSV Velvetloft sheet set and I have told her I was back from my trip and still nothing. Just worried is all ![]()
One last load of leaves to take to the compost pile today and I think we're done with raking and clean up.
I got 3 Christmas gifts this morning online so have a start anyways.
Thank you all for the prayers for my dad, keeping our 24 hour watch on him and taking turns.
Well the washer has stopped so better go throw another load in the dryer. Getting a walk in this afternoon. Hoping it warms up some, very windy.
Have a nice afternoon

I hope he's getting better @bopper. I shared a long conversation today about caring for an aging parent. Saturday is my Zumba class day and after class, in the locker room, the Zumba instructor was sharing the frustration she was having with her mother who has a heart condition but lives alone. This makes it more difficult for her to be helped but mom will not live with her. We must have talked for about half an hour. We shared caregiver notes about stubborn mothers just like people shares their illnesses or surgeries. Mine passed away at in 2010, though. Being retired, you can just unexpectedly 'hang out' so to speak. Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

Hey all, it's beautiful here today, heading to camp in a bit for a ride. Need some peace and quiet.
The family went to breakfast this morning, dad is improving thank you! Logan is back to himself too.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Bopper, prayers that your DD and Logan continue to improve. I know you're worried. I agree, I hope things are OK with Lucy and family.
Today, I washed some new tees I got at Kohl's for work. Then decided to wash and put summer clothes at the back of the closet. Oh, I also got my Cubs World Series tees and washed them so they're ready to go, too.
So, I've worked my new job a total of 7days (wow, it seems like a lot longer), and I delivered I've gotten a small callus on the ball of one foot. Darn. All that walking and stopping. Will try to stoop down differently and perhaps put a bandaid on it for some cushioning to prevent it from getting worse. Will stop at a drugstore tomorrow and see what kind of cushions they have. I don't want it to become chronic problem.
Happy Sunday and happy week to all.

Hey all, this morning I did the Xbike 15 miles and walked Logan on the trail. It was sunny when I got up but shortly afterward it clouded up and now it's misting out. We're 47 right now. Still above the norm for here.
Nomless hope your feet feel better and you find something to put over the callus's. Are you liking it I hope?
Making soup for dinner, seems a good soup day. I just go through my vegetable drawer in the fridge and toss in what ever seems to be getting a tad old and add chicken broth and chicken and viola soup!
Not much exciting going on here so I hope everyone missing and present have a great day!

Yes,Bopper,I like the job, but I admit it's a struggle getting used to the physical nature of it. I got callus cushions today, hope that will help. Also,I wore my memory foam Skechers instead of my Alegria shoes because the Skechers have more cushioning. I mentioned the issue to another worker. She said she wears one pair of shoes half the day, then changes to another pair. She also gave me hints about how to keep !y hands and. Ails from drying out. My nails were in great shape (finally), but now are a mess again. I wish the shifts were only 4 hours.....I work 5 hours and am totally exhausted at the end. I know I'll get used to it, but it feels brutsl now. The people I'm working with are terrific.
Needless to say, I didn't do a workout, but I sure feel like I did one. I'm exhausted!

Hello, this morning I did the treadmill alternating speed and incline and then about 15 minutes on my TG, will walk on the trail after lunch with Logan. Still thankful we have no snow yet and it's mid 40's.
Nomless I hope your day isn't so exhausting today, and your feet feel better. Sore feet are the worst!! Do you get a break during those 5 hours to sit and rub your feet some?
Kind of quiet around here, missing many folks...hope everyone is healthy and having a good week!

Hi all! Not feelin it today, but it is cool ....73....one of the few days that the AC has not gone on since May... I did a slow 2.5 mi./37.5 min. on the treadmill.
DS got sick to his stomach last night and he's home sick today....I hope I don't get it! He started a new school the other week, and a new evening class which is 9 hours a week, plus working on the weekends....a lot of new germs and stress!

What a wasted day today. On the drive to my fitness center, I started feeling a little dizzy. Took a quarter of a Dramamine since it wasn't too bad. When I got to the locker I decided to sit for the pill to take effect. Well, it didn't, in fact was getting worse. Got home, took more medicine and was in bed for the whole day.
Can't blame yoga this time, lol. Sometime my ears get blocked and I feel like I do on an airplane. I went to the doctor for it a couple of years ago and he said he could irrigate my ears but that I might be dizzy afterwards for several days. Well, back then, I was still working every day and didn't want to chance it.
So now I'm thinking the ear problem might be making me more sensitive to a lot of things. Better go get a check up.
Tomorrow will be better. I'm gonna take a pill when I get up even if I feel fine as a preventive measure. Gotta workout tomorrow because I'll be out of town for a couple of days and won't be able to.
@MickD, I'm sure that's all it is. Germs are everywhere. I'm glad they have those wet wipes at the center because I've heard that most illnesses are in gyms, especially the hand weights. Hope you all get better soon.

Morning, town day this morning, and I was out pretty early, as soon as it was light I went. Got groceries, paid a few bills and am home. I really don't like going to town but it has to be done. I have a good handle on my Christmas shopping so that's a good feeling and we don't have any snow yet and that's an even better feeling hahaha but this weekend I heard a "system" is coming.....I know we're past due but this has been glorious driving on dry safe roads.
Mmsfoxxie sorry you weren't feeling well yesterday. I hope today is better for you! I use the wipes on my cart at every store I go to. I get irritated when they are out of them and nobody refills it. I keep some in my purse even.
How is everyone, seems quiet here and as I said missing some friendly faces. Post and say hi, it only takes a minute and it doesn't have to be about exercise, just say hi and let us know how your day is going.
Keep smil'in everyone!
