Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Hi everyone, I just finished up my workout. Warmed up for a mile on the treadmill and then hit the TG and did the 14 Day Challenge workout. I love this workout. Used my laptop to do it on YouTube.

Nomless I am glad the kitty and collie are now buddies. I love collies...Logan needs to be groomed soon. I think I'll do it next month and he can get all his winter coat off. He doesn't like it but it has to be done and before long I'll be treating him for ticks. Hard to imagine we are at that time again and it's only 36 degrees here. DS is still waiting for his call up. Nobody retired this season so no spots opened. Even if you are ready to go up you have to wait until a spot opens...that can be, well nobody really know. Patients is key in his job! Thanks for asking about him. He is Spring training with the Majors though and last season was up the entire summer subbing in the Majors...which he will still do.

Pppmint You had a busy day yesterday but got some things crossed off the list too so that's good. Sorry it's already humid out. That darn ear hey. That has to really hurt. I hope you have a better day today!

Well better get in the shower, waving to everyone lurking Haha

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Hi, everyone. I hope it's a good day for all.

Hi, Bopper. Will be hoping that DS gets an opportunity to go to the biggies this season in some capacity. It's cool that he can do what he loves. I't so cool you're loving the new TG workouts.

Patty, thinking of you. Prayers.

It's another beautiful day here. Yesterday stuff happened after work and I didn't get a workout in. Will do so today, though, for sure!

Shadow was mopey when I had to leave for work this morning. I was busy all evening so I didn't get to spend much time with him and Coco yesterday. Coco can weather it pretty well, but Shadow gets super sad when he feels neglected. So I, too, felt bad when I had to leave this AM.

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Hi guys. Loonnnng night, slept under an hour. Not feeling the greatest now so I'm hoping I can sleep tonight. DH had crazy work stuff going on half the night so his phones were going off left and right.{#emotions_dlg.glare}

Because of some of what went on last night, coupled with new stuff today, he cancelled his trip around 2:30 this afternoon. AFTER I ironed his clothes and went to the credit union to get his cash, etc...lol. Oh well, I'd rather have him here any day...but they might fly out Sunday now but that has also turned into a big ordeal.

I still managed to get some miles in this morning but they were far from my best. However, I talked to my best friend from back home so that made the miles good. I also talked to another dear friend this afternoon that I used to pound the pavement with in Newport. Time just goes by so quickly and I haven't been as good at phone calls as I used to be.

I can picture Shadow nomless, Lucy looks like her world just crashed when I'm getting ready to leave. Sorry you were sad, I feel guilty too when Lucy is left in the kennel too long.

bopper...he really was full-time last summer imo...no difference that I could tell anyway...lol! It won't be long!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Because it's such a nice day, my boss let us leave an hour early. I put the time to good use, getting in an hour of cardio. It's rare for me to get in an hour long session during the week, and I'm done a half hour earlier than usual. Nice.

Patty, I'm glad DH could put off the travel, given the crazy night he had. So much stuff going on, that's for sure. Glad you talked to friends.

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Hi all, I thought I checked in and then realized I didn't. Treadmill/ TG/Recumbent bike for me today.

My GD is spending the night so we are busy doing stuff tonight.

Nomless I understand how you feel bad neglecting Shadow, I feel like that with Logan when I am gone for too long too. Yes, I hope DS will be up all season. Glad you were able to leave early. That's nice!

Pppmint things can sure change fast in your neck of the woods, can't they. I hope everything gets straightened out for. At least you got in some miles and had a nice conversation with your friend. I guess when you think of it DS was up. Your right Smiley Happy hopefully he makes it up soon!

Okay some little girl needs me!

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Busy day today at work and lots of craziness after. Just sat down this minute. It's too late to eat dinner, and I don't like working out this late either. Will get back on track tomorrow. Wishing everyone a fun evening.

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Morning. Woke up before 5 with hives...ugh. Not feeling the greatest and have a big day. Want to hit the CF Open competition again, work-out, and was supposed to work in the yard today at the other house that we're selling but it's raining. Have a lady coming to clean it today and now that I already have hives, I'm so glad dh talked me into that. I tend to get hives from cleaning products so that wouldn't have been what I needed today.

Yesterday was another busy day, worked-out(I was able to do squats without my knee hurting so that was promising...and run) had bible study then ran to Nordstrom's(in another city) to return some shoes, did a little shopping, then had to go to another mall back in city we live in to pick up my new glasses. They're bifocals AND new prescriptions in both eyes so that's going to take some time to get used to. Lucy stopped dead in her tracks when she saw them...stared at me like I had 5 heads.{#emotions_dlg.laugh} What a quirky little girl she is.

Went out to eat last night, wish the food was as good as the company and the view...lol. DH had a terrible week, was hoping Date Night would have been perfect, but we ended up laughing so darn hard we were crying so we made the best of our bummer meal. Then had a truck pull out right in front of us on the way home, he had to slam on the brakes and I felt like I was going through the windshield, scared me half to death.

nomless...hope you can catch up today, eat, get in a good work-out, and are able to make amends with Shadow.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

bopper...glad you get to spend some time with your gd.

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Morning, very windy here and snowing....oh well I knew we weren't done with winter.

This morning I did the 14 Day TG Challenge workout...am loving this workout the best.

GD went home around 10:30 am but she had fun here.

Hubby is working and when he gets home after a while we're going out to dinner with a gc we received.

Pppmt sorry your dinner wasn't the greatest but the company and view were good. I am so glad you were not involved in an accident. I tell ya you always have to be looking! Sorry about the hives too but glad you have somebody else cleaning for you.

Nomless we all have times we get off track. Today is a new day!

Where is everyone else?

Have a great day!

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Patty, LOL that Lucy thinks you look strange wearing new glasses. That's funny. I hope the hives settle down quickly....so uncomfortable. Hope you have fun watching CF trials. Bopper, enjoy date night and dinner with DH. I spent the morning cleaning, then did 75 min cardio. I've found I can combat boredom by doing 10 minutes on each of three machines. I did 2 circuits for an hour, then decided to do 5 more minutes on each machine. Time goes by fast when I switch macine every 10 minutes. Will do nothing for a while, then cook dinner. The cats are napping in the sun coming through the window. I wish I could sometimes be as happy as a happy cat, LOL.

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

30 min cardio done. No time to do more. It's a busy day with lots to do, including taking Coco to see Dr. Jay for her physical. She'll be mad at me later this afternoon. The bottom of my left heel has been sore, so today I put insoles that Dolvet was sponsoring in my shoes...Dr Scholl's Athetic Active or something like that. I think they helped. Have a good Sunday.
