Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Well I managed to do 40 minutes of Pilates and lots of stuff around the house. It's been a busy Monday. Gotta paint my fingers and toes, and do a few more things around here. Spin class in the am. Have a good evening, all! Safe travels, Patty. Hope you're feeling better, Mick!! Bopper, the humidity kills me, too -- it's the worst!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Drive-by...lol. I was sooooooo tired last night! I was asleep by 10:30 which is highly unusual for me...had been up and going since 4:30 though and with 5 strangers in your house ripping it all apart, it mentally exhausts you. Woke up at 4 this morning...that's the bad part about me going to sleep at a decent hour...but I'm not tired so that's all that matters.

Still have lots to do today, they are going to try and finish us up today even if they have to stay until 10. I sure hope not...it makes for a very long day.

Yesterday I got a 4-mile run in and then went to an outside Bootcamp class with a friend(waving if you're reading this). It was fun, we did a lot of different "drills"....we'd do some rounds of 20 push-ups, 20 burpees...then 50 squats and 50 jumping-jacks, then sprints...then 20 push-ups, 20 squats, 20 jumping jacks, then run the hills, and we carried each other on piggy-back, etc. Basic, yet efficient.

Have a great day everyone...dh just told me break is over...lol.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Morning, another rainy dreary day here. So dark you need the lights on.

Checking in with 21 day fix cardio fix along with 23 push ups modified, and 85 double leg lifts.

Big thunder now...........yikes

Pppmint your making progress and I can't even imagine the exhaustion mentally this has to be for you. Is Lucy and kitties OK...they know something is up for sure.

What a good workout you had yesterday....bootcamp sounds hard...you do so good...so impressive....very motivating for all of us. Love to read about your workouts...proves there is hope for us all {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Nomless hope your schedule slows down some for you...you still do really good!

FUTURE good job on the Pilates!

MickD are you feeling better today?

Wow, its a cloud burst.............later gaiters.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi, all. I hope it's been a good day.

Patty, I know you've had a busy day!

Tonight I'll do TG again. This morning, I still was sore from Sunday's session.

I enjoyed Amer. Ninja Warrior last night. Fun to see another woman make it through. I don't think this is a spoiler, but here's a warning, just in case, SPOILER BELOW

I felt so sad for that guy who was doing fine until his foot touched water on the dismount and he didn't even realize it. The mental component is certainly as important as the strength and agility components. You need to pay attention to what all limbs are doing at all times to avoid mistakes. He started thinking about the next obstacle instead of paying attention to finishing the one he was on. So sad.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi bopper-Here I am, one of your MIAs! I have been picking up extra shifts or switching with people so things have been a little chaotic. And we have been having Internet issues- as usual. That goes with life in a small town. I have been getting some workouts in- nothing exciting. Pulling out Firm DVDs - doing some full and some express versions, chalean and t25. And then offsetting with extra junk food. Oh well. The weather has been great- tho rain coming tomorrow. So, a big hi to all of you!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Morning, checking in with Total gym upper and lower body/ treadmill intervals / running/ walking/ 85 squats/ 24 push ups/ and rebounding in between the sets....

Another rainy cold day here...weekend is going to be hot and humid....can't make up it's mind I guess. Frankly I'd rather have this weather.

Hi Tony, glad to see you...hubby shopped last night so I didn't have to go,,,woo hooo...Hang in there....I have tons of internet issues here as well...

Pppmint thinking of your hectic day today. Hoping Lucy and kitties can adjust to the move and DS stays on track....sending positive vibes your way!

Nomless TG great job! I really like mine....also did level 4 today on most things...had to lower for chest presses though...but I like working my back with the pull ups..and chin ups...

FUTURE it's hump day..........keep your chin up...it's almost here!

Judy hi and waving....getting closer !

Waving to all the missing!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Bopper, I think it's the pull-ups and chin-ups that made my back sore. As I was doing them last night, I realized that none of the other equipment I use simulates those exercises. Only the TG or a real bar can do it. Very cool that with the TG I can work muscles that are otherwise ignored.
