Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Check In

Good job, Patty! But it's not a surprise...you always have great workouts!

Future, you got a nap in! Hurray!! You're not alone in being hot -- we had a relatively cool week last week, but that's over and done now. Today heat index will be 110, ugh!

Hi, Bopper, is your back feeling better?

I was bad yesterday. I was going to do a TG workout, but I never got it done. Today I'll do something for sure, but I haven't decided what it will be.

And tonight is ANW. I know the city courses varied a little for the first round? I wonder if all cities will do the same course for this round. Seems only fair. It will be fun to see if another woman can join Kacy in the finals. I can't wait.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Check In

Today was soooooooo not my day, all around. I'll spare you the details. I didn't sleep well last night, so I started off on the wrong side of the bed --- just went downhill from there. Lol! I MADE, I mean FORCED myself to do 30 minutes on the Pilates machine. It is so stinking hot and humid here, I couldn't make myself go outside. My hips hurt a little from my walk yesterday. I'll try to get to spin in the am. If not, I'll get on the treadmill before work!! Night, everyone!!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Check In

Morning all, very humid here too. I did 30 minutes of Yoga and a 2 Mile treadmill walk..my back is still tight so I am hoping the yoga will help. Really need to make more of an effort to include this in my weekly stuff.

FUTURE sorry your day was so awful...today is a new day....

nomless good job with working so hard.........are you liking your TG?

Pppmint DH is doing really well with his PT,,,,I knew he would! And that little Lucy...she's a handful LOL Logan was sniffing everything in site last night, I meaning every blade of grass and he wouldn't go potty for me....some days I tell ya {#emotions_dlg.crying}

Grocery shopping tomorrow...

Friday here is the Annual Blueberry Festival. The downtown streets are closed to traffic and the stores bring out all their stuff on the street and they sell tons of blueberries, bands are playing...just a fun day. Then on the weekend is the annual Art on the Rocks at the Lake...that's a 2 event...more fun.

Have a great day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Check In

Man, I just sat down and now I feel whipped! Took Lucy to the groomers, she looks wonderful, best haircut she's ever had!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} I ran a few errands and found a great used book store...so many books it was overwhelming!

I ran to the gym this morning but ran straight there(1.1 miles), not my usual route...just can't with this stupid foot...but I ran fast...too fast the first 1/2 mile so had to slow down and catch my breath. I did legs and bi's then some cardio. I can tell I'm getting stronger already and can feel a difference in my clothes...have to keep this up.

Just hate that I'll have to switch gyms again in 2 weeks and start all over. I'm just feeling comfortable now here...knowing my way around.

Oh yes nomless, I have bad work-out days...Saturday was kind of one of them...not terrible, but I just wasn't feeling it so didn't put out like usual, even dh ribbed me about it. And that's okay, not every work-out is going to be great. I showed him today though. Wink

And, yes bopper, he is doing really well. At surgeon's appt right now for his follow-up but PT told surgeon how well he's doing. DH said he feels better already than before the surgery. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

I liked this article...I know, another article. I can't help myself...lol. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Check In

Hi, everyone, I hope your day is good. Here, it's another hot and humid one. Very uncomfortable outside.

Tonight I will do TG. Yes, Bopper, I like it, but it's hard so I hate it and make up excuses to avoid it. LOL. But I won't allow myself to lower it. Crazy, eh?

Patty, it's great to hear that your DH is doing well. Thanks for posting the link to another useful article.

Hi, Future, I bet Pilates felt good after your busy day yesterday. Hope your day is less crazy today.

Oh-oh, more work just landed, gotta run.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Check In

Hi, all!! Another busy day.......Smiley Happy But I woke up early and did the treadmill at an incline for 45 minutes! I am going to do weights tomorrow. I might just do it at home and do some heavier weights and compound moves. I'll see how work goes before I nail down exactly what I'll do. Another hot one here!! Bopper, wish I could go to the blueberry festival with you!! I LOVE blueberries, and it sounds like such fun. Night, all!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Check In

Hi all! Few miles this morning at beach, Nordstrom's with my gf, then a long bike ride with her.
