Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Bopper, yay that you got the lantern. Despite the fact that the two pieces connect with a scr*w, it looks top heavy to me, as though a good shove from a running cat could knock it over. The base doesn't seem wide enough for my needs. Cetainly, it will be stable if it'still not pushed, so I'm sure you won't have a problem. Let us know what you think of it. I liked it very much.

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hello, All.  @Iluvlucy, I hope those hives are better or gone.  The only way I can relate to them is when you get a lot of mosquito bites at the same time and the more you scratch, the more you itch and the more miserable you are.

It's a steady stream of light snow flurries here today but nothing is sticking so far,  Not expected to stick according to the forecast.  I'm staying in regardless.  I worked out yesterday so I feel comfortable taking a break.  It's Sunday, afterall.

Well, can't talk about the news so I'm going to say...have a great day everyone.

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hey all,  It's been snowing steady here all day.  I have shoveled 2 times today and could probalby do it again.  It's light and fluffy though.

Not much done here today, we went to breakfast for Hubby's BD, then to Target and I found some cute things for my Granddaughters 1st BD, and then visited my dad and came home.

Nomless I see my lantern is on Advance Order, not sure why because it wasn't when I ordered it.   Oh well, I hope I like it.  The one Luminara I have the candle doesn't flicker and I asked the vendor what to do and she said sometimes the little flame has to be snapped in as it gets off when transported but I can't get mine to work, I still like it though.

Iluvlucy I hope your feeling better, you have been through so much with the hives and not knowing what causes them, it's time for answers.   I hope you had a better day today!   Logan is loving the fresh snow, but he is one to try and eat his poo, and it is so gross!  He's done that since he was a baby!

Miss Universe is on now....

Hoping you all have a good week, I started the February thread too!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hey it's Monday, I see I'm following myself so I will not bore again LOL   I did an hour on my bike, shoveld, snow blowed the driveway and mailboxes and shoveled the deck.  After lunch I walked Logan on the trail.  It's hard going, we got about 9 inches of new snow between Saturday and Sunday so it was hard to walk and it's hard on the knees and back because your legs are at different levels when you sink.  But we made it.

I will be babysitting tonight my GD and pretty much for the next 2 months on and off sometimes during the day and then again at night but they grow so fast, it will be fun.  She turns a year on Wednesday already!

Have a great day!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

No news here. Work seems easier this week. I hope that means my legs are stronger and I'm building some endurance.

Bopper, you'll have fun with DGD, and she'll really get to know you. That will be good. I bet you'll get tired out keeping up with her. Is she walking yet?

Laura, I hope ypu're having a good week.

You, too, Foxxie. I hope you feel ok.

Lucy, I hope you're doing ok, too. I hope you'very gotten relief from the swelling and itching. Hope family, including Lucy, are doing well, too.

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

I started running to lose weight and stay fit. I think running and walking are the best fitness exercise to stay fit and slim.
