@nomless Hope you like your sneakers. I have quite a few pairs of Vionics and I really like the brand. I'm still thinking about the hiking pair they had as a TSV a few months ago.
@Iluvlucy Glad he didn't do too much damage! ![]()
I think my Fitbit is getting ready to ship. I got a notice QVC hit my credit card. Unfortunately, I think the juice I drank to combat my infection put some weight on me even though I always water it down.
Time to get it off!

Hi, everyone. Oh, I wish that I could see everybody's posts as I write this. Overall, it seems that everyone is ok. I did a lol at the husband knocking down, I believe @Iluvlucy ? @bopper. Glad dad is well. I still reading your thread on good food recipes.
Im better and I'm thinking about going to do a modified workout against my husband objections. But Monday is one of my favorite workout schedules to follow. The medication has done a wonderful job. The pain intensity is less and doesn't come nearly as often. There is an overall soreness that never leaves but I'm hopeful that it will go away as well. My research says to keep the body moving and the blood circulating. Only problem is the meds make me sleepy.
Enjoy your day everyone!

@Laura14, another round of spasms just happened, unfortunately. Fortunately, it happened before I left. Made an appointment to see my primary doctor for Wednesday. Oh, the frustration of it lol. I'll admit that I didn't take the meds as the doctor prescribed. He gave me two different muscle relaxants. I chose to take one or the other. And an anti nausea pill. Maybe my husband is right.....I am hard headed, lol. But mixing meds scares me.

@Mmsfoxxie I am so sorry!
I am actually studying pharmacy right now and it's fascinating how all the drugs interact in your body and with each other. It's amazing that humans have figured out this much.
I'm far from expert but I just read this chapter in my textbook and they seem to really know what medicines can work together with your proteins and enzymes and how they metabolize and attach to your cell receptors so they really do have a good idea of what can't be combined or what may be a problem in most people. Having said that, you know you.
Glad you are going to your doctor to get it all straightened out and feel better.

Happy Monday everyone! It's sunny here and the temp are upper 20's which feel balmy to me after what we have had. I got outside and fast walked 3.5 miles and then did some on my TG. I"ll go back out after I have some lunch and watch Y&R. Taking Logan to the trail and scraping some ice off the deck. It's so bright with the sun on that snow I am almost blinded without my sunglasses on. Oh I did see an eagle walking today though. Flying over head right in my neighborhood....Thought that was cool!
Foxxie please take good care of yourself, it's so hard to figure out medications and which ones interact with the other ones. I"m stubborn and bull headed too so I totally understand.
Nomless the vionics are working good for you? Did you keep 2 pairs?
Laura that's awesome you are studying pharmacy! How cool is that! We'll call you Dr. Laura now LOL Hahah
Iluvlucy hope the ice is all gone, I saw on the national news the temps are going up in most places so that stuff will all melt. We're even getting into the 30's and maybe a 40. We do need a thaw though but I don't want rain.
Waving to everyone! Thought maybe we all needed this!!!

Thanks, @Laura14. He gave me Diazepam 5 mg which is Valium. That surprised me. And Cyclobenzaphrine, 10 mg. I told him that meds make me nauseous, he prescribed Promethazine. I'm not a pill person because it's too easy to over medicate.
I don't know if I mentioned it but a couple of years ago, my orthopedic doctor prescribed two pain meds to be taken together no I thought I was going to die. Some doctors do t take into consideration your weight and height. When I'm at my ideal weight, I'm 130. Five ft tall. Not surprisingly, I might not be able to handle what a six ft three, 200 lbs person could. So that's why I'm leery about taking meds together.

@Mmsfoxxie I'm with you! I'm a little person too and I have difficulty even taking an aspirin.
I hate medicine. I told a doctor once the exact same thing that I didn't trust him to take any medicine because I'm so little and I was afraid he would overdose me. I found out later that a lot of medicines are prescribed by weight and not in standard adult dosages. Did not know that nor did he tell me that which makes me even more uncomfortable. So I, like you, don't trust doctors to remember that I'm not adult size.
On the rare blue moon I do get sick enough to have to take something, I stay OTC and take the children's version because I still make the weight limit on it and trust it more for my size. Not as much drowsiness either. ![]()
