Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hi Everyone! i am looking for those geese, nomless. Below 0 so where is spring? Another 3-6 inches coming. Oh well. Bopper- I would like cookie, please? Patty- did you figure a place for that treadmill? Future- how are you? Judy- I am glad that your long distance romance works but it must be hard. As my usual report- if I feel like working out, I find some DVD to do. But I am obviously not committed. Hopefully I will get focused soon. Enjoy your day!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Nomless- I did get to work fine.Left really early coulda left as usual. work was calm because clinics and surgeries had been cancelled and discharged patients could not leave- so it was kinda nice. The Massachusetts travel ban was for 24 hours. All done and over with now!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hey all, super windy blustery day here....I mean at times I can't see across the street. No outside walk today. Did the Total Gym though and had a good workout. Been sanding my kitchen cupboards to repaint them. That's work in itself.

Tony glad your safe and the roads weren't too bad. We're pretty slick around here. Sending cookies your way!

Nomless Shadow is giving you the "cold shoulder" wants mama home....and I am sure mama wants to be home too.

Pppmint that Lucy sure has you running in all different directions. She must have an iron stomach for such a little thing. Glad the vet was able to help,,,you must have freaked!

FUTURE you hangin in there this week?

Friday tomorrow, seems the week flew by. Have a good rest of the night. BL finale tonight!

Yep, Bopper, mama sure does wish she could be home more! LOL. I ordered my shoes last night, and they shipped today. Wow, that's fast for Q. Now am seeing a few reviews that they run big. Oh-oh. Hope the shoes work for me.

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Happy Friday! It's raining here again...ugh. I'll take snow any day over rain.

I slept until 6 today which is the latest I've slept in quite a while...now my morning seems cut short though. I took some Benedryl and 2 Advil last night and dh did my back for 2 hours, my allergies are going crazy right now for some reason.

Got in a few miles yesterday morning, then my gf came by and we went walking. Today is CF, bible study, groceries, and a meeting this afternoon at 3.

I'm dreading CF, I hate wall-balls, I think it might be my least favorite thing we do there...hated them in FL too. They can kick your butt like nobody's business!

Dh leaves for NC on Sunday. They had the strangest "dress-code request" on the write-up...no one is quite sure what it is...lol.

Have a great day everyone!!!

(I got up to do one thing which led to a few other things, come back here and see I didn't send this!)

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, it was quite cold here last night, well below zero with the windchill but now the sun is out and we are at 19...sun sure does look nice and quite decieving!

I did the treadmill for 50 minutes today doing intervals of run/walk and then came up and started to vacuum and shovel my deck...one thing sure does lead to another Pppmint! I hope your workout wasn't too bad....You have a busy afternoon too. How is that Lucy feeling now, little stinker!

Nomless I 'm sure Shadow has forgiven you....but having you home is nice! At least we are at the weekend. Did you watch the finale of BL ? Boy they sure looked great! I think the new trainers are doing a great job!

Can you all believe we are at the end of January! Whoop whoop here as I sit buried in snow and cold! Maybe April will indeed make it here!

Have a wonderful day!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Patty, yeah that you slept in today, LOL. It's all relative, isn't it? Hope CF was good.

Hi, Mousiegirl, who left no message. We'd love to see what you have to say, don't be shy.

Hi, Boppy, sunshine brightens the spirit even on a cold day, right? Good job on treadmill, shoveling, etc.

Today is a crazy busy day, as they've all been lately. I'm just now getting around to eating something for lunch. I watched the BL finale last night. No surprises really, and it was cool to see that even the at-home people got very respectable results.

I think I'll do a Katami workout tonight, or maybe I'll go do walking in the workout room. Hey, Patty, did you decide where to put your treadmill? I sure wish I had space for cardio equip of some kind. It would be so nice to do cardio while I'm watching TV....

I need to get back to work.

Hey, Future, I don't think we've seen you this week. I hope things are good. You, too, Judy. Have you tried your new bar yet?

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Morning! Chilly here for this area(10* windchill), house was 58* so I turned the heat on. We had over 40 mph winds again though and that comes right through the house. They showed the US temp map on the news and the kids are one of the coldest in the country and have another snowstorm coming, they're in the highest inches bracket. My gf is up to -27* today, they were -42* yesterday so she'll get her miles in today, they're just so used to it up there.

What a day yesterday and today isn't going to be much better. The dress code is "Rough Casual"....now that's a new one. Dh had one of his guys call and ask what the hey that meant...cargo pants. No jeans, no chinos, no uniforms(for security reasons). We gave all of his cargo pants away when he came back from Afghanistan so now we have to go buy 2 new pairs today. Also have to do some stuff the for remodel today...bedsheets, and pack.

I guess we're going to the gym. We'll take Lucy for a short run first...hope she doesn't get blown away.

She is full of it this morning...she's been yelled at about 10 times so far...lol. And it hasn't stopped her! {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}{#emotions_dlg.devil2}

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hey all, cold and snowy/windy here. Wind chill is 3....I have to say I haven't done much other than clean and straighten up. I did do my TG for 25 minutes so it's something.

Hubby worked this morning and doesn't feel like doing anything..he said it's too cold out to be outside, and with the wind I guess I have to agree which doesn't leave much else.

Watching Hallmark movies and baking....going to grill steaks on my shoveled off deck for dinner and salad.

Pppmint that Lucy, she's a stinker for sure....sounds like have a lot to do today finding cargo pants and your house stuff..

Nomless did you do your PK workout.....Hoping Shadow is happy you are home Smiley Happy

mousegirl your message isn't there...come join us

FUTURE time to stop by again and Tony you too!

Okay kids, time to take my stuff out of the oven...Have a great day! Remember to check in on our new February thread tomorrow!
