Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Oh, dang. The Earth shoes are too big. Early reviews that stated true to size were wrong. I'd love 'em if they fit. Sad to have to eat the cost of returning them, but that's what get for taking a chance. Oh, well.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

So sorry nomless, I hate those days, they're so long! I had another bad night's sleep too, but better than the night before so I guess I shouldn't complain. Dh should be home around 11pm tonight so I'm thankful for that, I need my back done. And sorry your shoes didn't fit, one reason why I'm so afraid to buy shoes online, even though I do. I just got a pair of Via Spiga's from Nordstroms and I love them, just hope the buckle doesn't bother my ankle bone. Won't know until I wear them for a day.

The new friend didn't go yesterday because she isn't feeling well. It's going around like crazy here and I'm paranoid.

We had quite the storm come through yesterday, it was crazy...72 mph wind-gust. Over 17000 people without power. It was 61* yesterday and 22* this morning, house was 55* when I got up. It actually woke me up a few times last night because it was so cold in here but I knew if I got up, I'd be up for good so I rode it out. Lucy was snuggled in my back or my neck all night long...but she never came out of the covers.

Windy again but nothing like yesterday...seems to be dying down as the day goes on. The sun is out so I'm going for a run then need to get groceries and run errands. I shouldn't have sat back down, I might need a 3rd cup of coffee.Wink

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hi everyone, I woke up to sun but only 10 degrees or so...can't quite remember but it was cold..Did the Total Gym and a little on the treadmill,,then took Logan on the trail dressed warm.. He loved it of course, and then he burrows himself in the snow drifts as if to say " What's wrong, it's nice" Haha.

Nomless sorry your shoes don't fit. It's so hard to buy shoes and every brand fits differently even if you buy your correct size, that brand may not fit...I hear ya! Sorry you didn't sleep well, I understand worries too !

Pppmint I am glad hubby will be home tonight...and glad your wind is dying down..I don't like wind...

FUTURE hope your week is going alright..

Tony check in and say hi when you have time.

My car bit the dust so we are down to 1 car and it's an old one so crossing our fingers we will be OK.

Waving to everyone!

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hi, all! I posted on the Jan thread on Saturday. We had people over on Sunday night for the game. It was super cold and windy!! But no precip. Yesterday was the worlds longest day. 10 hour work day, several phone calls, then had to rush home and get ready for a dinner with another couple. It was beyond delicious and we had a great time. Today was fairly relaxed. We have dinner with family tonight, and I managed to fit in a (MUCH needed) manicure. My nails looked pitiful! Tmrw will be a regular work day, so I will manage to get in a workout. And I'm going to on Thursday, as well. Friday and Saturday I have a conference all day, so it will be a wash. Smiley Wink Nomless, hope you're having a good week. Sorry your shoes didn't fit! That always stinks. I feel like I'm forever returning shoes. Lol! Patty, our pups always sleep on me, and I woke up cold the other morning, and grabbed one to snuggle up to as my little personal space heater. Smiley Wink Bopper, Logan loves those trails! It's always so cute when the dogs love the snow. Mine rarely see it, and so they just run out and right back in. They are divas. Smiley Wink haha! TONY!! Full moon tomorrow. Buckle in and hunker down. Smiley Happy hi vonlam, hope you are well! Ok, hubby is hollering at me to leave, so I've gotta roll. Hope you all have a fabulous evening!!

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

It was nice to log in and see your messages. It's nice to spend a moment with friend. Patty, love the image of Lucy cuddling under the covers. Bopper, what a bummer about the car. I hope it all works out OK. Future, glad you've had some fun with family and friends. I'm trying to get worries off my mind so I can sleep. Have some big decisions to make that are stressing me out. Nothing bad or anything, though, I'm thankful for that. I know we all have worries. Speaking if which, Patty, I hope D's is doing OK. Prayers. 'Night.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Morning, another chilly start to the day....below zero in many spots. We are at 13 right now.

Treadmill intervals today...running/walking....and boy am I sweating....

FUTURE so good to see your message...busy times....glad you had a nice evening on Super Bowl Sunday and a nice dinner with friends...Yes Logan loves snow....my nails are a mess too....it's so dry in the house...I"m getting shocks everywhere...hair is one big static mess LOL

Pppmint hope your WOD doesn't kill you haha....Is Lucy happy her daddy is home? I bet she was wiggly Smiley Happy

Nomless worries are so hard....I try and do what I can and give the rest to God.....but it's hard for sure..... Have to get groceries today, so have to wait for DH to get home so I can use his vehicle...guess he'll be going with me too, ( not always the best) haha

Well the plow filled me in something terrible and my mailbox...If I don't clear the mailbox they won't leave the mail....darn it...and it's huge chucks and slabs he scraped off the road....

Well better get moving...have a great rest of your day!

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Well, I dug deep today. I'm not a fan of the rings, kipping, pull-ups, double-unders...and we basically covered them all today...lol. And so many dead-lifts alternating with box-jumps for time.

My gf looked up the wod and sent me a text asking if I just wanted to run with her instead...it sounded very appealing but I said let's just do it and get it over with...it's only an hour. Funny part is, I was dying at one point and felt like I was done, looked up at the timer and we had 2 minutes left...I had thoughts of stopping, I felt 'done', wasn't going to do anymore. That's when I had to mentally make myself continue.

Dh got home last night around 10. His training was brutal this morning too....said that running as fast and hard as you can while someone is pulling you back with the rubber tube around you is tough, especially with everything else in the circuit.

nomless, I will pray for your decisions, for you to have discernment and that you get some good sleep tonight. I've spent so many nights of my life laying awake stressing...most due to my son...but there's been plenty of others. I was traumatized after my mom was killed in her car accident and I heard how she died...couldn't shake those horrible images out of my head for years. He's doing okay btw, thanks for asking. The shot he gives himself every other week makes him super tired, but nothing he can do about it.

FUTURE and bopper...my nails are hideous! They haven't been this bad in over a year. I've been obsessed with those darn Lysol wipes(yes, even used them at CF today, brought my own tub...haha) and I realized that they're probably what is drying out my cuticles so bad.

bopper...the postman delivered our mail to our front porch this morning since he knows my key doesn't work. I thought that was so nice! I mailed the kid's Valentines box this morning and the guy gave me the number to call about my key.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

I seriously can't believe how much I type after I hit submit...haha! It's a book...sorry!{#emotions_dlg.w00t} It seems like I'm only typing a few things. Maybe I should start using my phone, I can't stand typing on that thing...or even going to the Q on it for that matter. Don't have the patience.
