Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hi Everyone- kind of a heatwave-19 degrees and no windchill! but roof collapses continue as well as early morning slippery roads. It'll take forever for snow to melt! Nomless-funny about the geese and probably very smart! Bopper- very happy to see NASCAR and ready for Red Sox baseball! Patty- how did the walk through go? Future-you are so busy! I know I couldn't do it- too low key. Cookie- I am the slacker of the group and they let me stay so you will be fine- keep at it! See ya!

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hey all, it's nice and sunny here.. Not warm at 9 degrees but the sun is wonderful. I can tell it's stronger as standing in the window you feel the heat....

Today I did treadmill intervals alternating the incline up and down for 3 miles. Some shoveling too.

FUTURE glad you popped in and it appears you are still running running running LOL Hope you get some time to just relax with the pups and take a nap.....have fun if you go to spin.

Nomless Logan's ears were fine, he got his shots and his toe nails cut...he doesn't like that!

Pppmint so enjoy that Lucy and the mischief she can get into...glad your little visitor is adapting. That snow you got is very heavy but it sure is pretty.

Tony I am really anxious for BB. My son leaves on Monday for Spring training...

Not much more here, still only have 1 car so I've been house bound! But I keep busy enough that's it's OK..you do what you have to do!

Have a great evening all.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hi, everyone. It's cold but sunny here, too, Bopper. It's good news that Logan's ears were OK. It must be hard not having a car available during the day. Good job on the treadmill intervals. I vary speed on the treadmill but incline...not so much.

Patty, I can just imagine Lucy bouncing in the snow! It makes me laugh. I hope visiting pup is doing well.

Hi, Tony, temperature is all relative, isn't it? Glad you can enjoy the balmy 19* temp. LOL.

Cookie, I hope you're doing well. Hi to Future and Cater, too.

I don't know what I'm going to do tonight. I'm feeling very down and blah....I don't know if I should give in to doing nothing or if I should make myself go to the gym. Guess I'll see when I get home in a couple of hours.

I've got no interesting news, no plans for anything fun. This weekend I'm going to clean out a storage area that's a mess. I've been thinking about it all week.....I really have to MAKE myself pitch things, but I'm kind of a pack rat so it's going to be a little hard. But it HAS to be done. That will be my Saturday. It's going to snow this weekend, so it will be a good weekend project.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Hi, all! No WO today. Got done too late and couldn't make the class. I needed to pick up a couple of items at the store I forgot the other day, as I have to make something to take to a party tmrw night. Then I had to call and deal with the bank on an issue, then call a bunch of other companies because of it. AY ay ay. Yuck. My allergies are still bugging me, but at least it's not worse!! (Knocking on wood.... Lol!) Hope you guys have a nice Friday. It'll be cold and possible snow/ice here! Round 4 for the last two weeks! Lol!!

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

It's Friday nomless!! I'm feeling tired today...been up since 3:45. I laid in bed until 4 but could tell I wasn't going to fall back to sleep. And since we didn't get to sleep until midnight thanks to dh receiving texts all night long, today may not be a great one for me.

The CF games have started, first wod was released yesterday. It was fun watching the videos this morning. I can't do today's WOD(tons of squats) because of my knee so not sure what I'm going to do. Bible study was canceled because of the ice, and all schools...base on 2-hour delay, but doesn't look like CF has been canceled. Dh flies out Monday and we're supposed to have cruddy weather(rain every single day) all week.

bopper...it's a good thing you're a self-proclaimed home-body...makes it easier since you only went out 1-day a week anyway. I know it makes you feel trapped though, nice knowing you have that freedom available.

Tony...walk-through went fine. I still have to get appliances, clean(going to hire someone), waiting to hear on a water-pressure problem I noticed in one of the bathrooms, etc.

Ugh, 2 cups of coffee in me and I'm still tired. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Happy Friday everyone! The sun is shining and the skies are blue...and it was another below 0 morning but with the sun...we shall go on!

Treadmill this morning and 30 minutes on the TG Cardio and Strength dvd....still loving my new dvd's...Rosalie said soon you can purchase separately nomless.

Pppmint I think your snow will be melting today as it's supposed to warm up there today. We are supposed to be in the 20's over this weekend, something we haven't seen in a while and our normal high is 30 now....I'll take it!

FUTURE hope your weekend has some quiet time for you...

Tony another racing weekend and next week Spring training games start! Woo hooooooooo

Cookie hope your doing alright, keep at it!

Waving to all!

Hey nomless...I know you like Rich Froning, thought you might want to watch(if you haven't already) the first work-out(15.1) between him and Fraser of the CF Open. Might cheer you up. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Those clean and jerks make me nervous...lol.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

Patty, thanks!! But, but but...I don't get why Rich is doing this one individual event when he's retired from individual competition....was it just to compete against Fraser to kick off the new season? It looks like Rich is still on his game. Thanks for letting me know.

BTW, have you decided whether to do the CFG?

OOOhhhh, I love the ads showing the trainer working with seniors.

I didn't get a workout in last night. I just wasn't into it, too, I needed some time to chill. My mind was on a thousand things, and when that happens, I find it diffcult to pull my mind back and focus on a workout.

Today is sunny and cold. Will try to get in a workout tonight and definitely this weekend.

Hi, Future, happy weekend!! Yes, I'm happy for Friday, too!

Hi, Bopper, yay that you have sun and blue skies! Even when it's cold, the sun makes it more tolerable. It's nice to feel the heat from the sun. I'm so glad to know you like the new DVDs. Are you able to keep up with it OK, or do you have to pause it in order to switch positions, etc?

Oh-oh, more work came in .... gotta go.

Re: Welcome to the February Exercise Check In

45 min cardio done on treadmill, bike, and elliptical. And a new find at the grocery: store brand spaghetti noodles now comes in "pot" size - it's 5" long. Yay .... I always break the spaghetti to fit in the pot, now I don't need to. Ooo, the fitbit commercial I like is on.....happy tune, love it.
