[ Edited ]

Sorry about the pup, I prayed for him.  I'm hoping some family has him and they'll be reunited.

nomless....good grief!  That place you work for doesn't sound like they can get anything straight!  How irritating!  And in that weather to boot.  My gf has a lot of snow and they've been below zero for so long.

I'm so tired.  I haven't slept well in weeks but last night was terrible.  I didn't sleep at all and my stomach was so upset, I thought I was going to throw-up for hours....then I had a terrible headache again...DH was kicking and jerking...you get the picture.

My dil wants me to go out with her again, my bum cheeks are still sore and I'm tired.  It's so hilly here and she only has one speed....but at least hers were sore also so I didn't feel as bad.  We ran that last big hill so fast, I wanted to stop in the worst way but I dug down and finished..couldn't breath, but I finished.

The stress of knowing ds's in a flare and if this medication will work or not is enough to wear me out, throw in the no sleep, the hives, steroids, our medical procedures coming up, the move, and everything else and I guess I'm doing okay.  DS has to work again today...hope he doesn't tomorrow(he's on-call all weekend).

Not sure what today holds, they want to go to the movies when ds gets home from work...I'm not a fan of that but might be okay since I didn't sleep at all.  Waving to everyone(Tony, cater, Skylark, et al)...hope those that celebrate had a nice Christmas.

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

Good Morning,  it's quite dark here still and 30.   Supposed to get snow today,,,,

I'm in a funk, I know I don't live in CO and it isn't my dog but friends, I am sick about this.  I can't sleep thinking about this little dog in the cold since Tuesday night.  I do hope of course he found someplace to sleep that is warm but being honest we don't think that is happening.  He is afraid of people, he won't go to anyone and was sighted near the railroad tracks near the coyotes.   My son and his finance need closure, at least that would help.   I realize not everyone is an animal lover and that is fine and I also don't make light of people and their difficulties they are going through of course either but if I sound in a funk I guess I am....praying so hard this baby gets found....I'm on the Shelter page every few hours looking at the found animals and he isn't in there....please if you wouldn't mind please pray they find him.   Thank you.

Patty sorry you didn't feel well last night.  That's the worst feeling ever to lay in bed thinking you have to throw up.   I pray for DS every night and I hope things turn around for him and for you and your family.

Nomless I hope you can relax this weekend now, and something you would like better turns up.

Skylark, cater, Tony I'm waving to you all

Blessings!

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

Christmas was so nice..but way toooo much of everything-gifts and especially food.  I feel like a gluttonous cretin.  My house is filled with candy and bakery I DONOT need.

Bopper, feeling bad about the lost dog.  They are such a big part of family life.  I bet someone has him.  That happened to us with an Irish Setter we had. Praying they get him back.

Nomless,if you can stand to stay at your present job til you find another,I would.  They say people are more likely to get hired if they are presently employed. But life is short, if you're totally miserable why torture yourself? It's a tough decision.

Patty,so miserable with no sleep.  It affects all aspects of your daily life. After all youi been dealing with you might crash and sleep for 18 hours from sheer exhaustion!

Cold and rainy here..no snow for Christmas either.

Wishing you all a cozy, restful weekend.  That's what I'm hoping for.

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

Happy Sunday Funday!,   We are getting some snow today, so far about an inch and under a winter storm watch for tomorrow into Tuesday, so we shall see.  Logan loves the snow though.

Thank you all for your concern and your prayers regarding this little dog.  No news today either.  Did talk with a family member of the dog and nothing has been brought to the Shelter or seen, but please keep praying for him.

I did a trail walk today and some band work.

Hubby and DS are at camp, closing it up and watching football while making a nice wood stove fire.

Not much more here to say.   Skylark seems everywhere we go there is food!  Just the time of year I guess...just try and keep moving.

Be Blessed and Be Thankful!

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

It's Monday, right?  LOL...I'm so messed up!  We ran all over the place yesterday...late to bed and early to rise again this morning.  Ate at a new restaurant that was delicious....they accidentally made me salmon instead of chicken with my salad because I went back and forth while ordering, so they boxed up the entire salmon salad for me to take home, then also made the chicken salad and took both of them off the ticket!

Did lots of furniture shopping, kids ordered new chairs for their living room and we bought them a beautiful dining room table and chairs.  I'd love it for my house, it can seat 10 comfortably but they'll leave the 2 leafs out to save space.  Wood is beautiful, Pottery Barn has a similar one.

We're heading home today, thought about staying one more day but I need my own bed and routine plus the kids both work(son is already there) and we need to get the cats from the kennel, it's been quite the month and we need to catch our breath . If that is even an option for us, doesn't seem like it.

We'll be driving in bad weather again.  So tired of this rain, wish it was snow.  A friend from WI posted a beautiful photo of the fresh snow, so serene.

Going to head out, I need to wear Lucy out for the trip and I can always use it.  I did a quick work-out yesterday with their little gym downstairs and my armpits are sore...lol...and sides of my chest....guess I hit a different angle.

Skylark, you're not alone, I ate my weight in chocolate and caramel popcorn on Christmas day....I was sooooo sick!  Only good thing about that is, I haven't been able to eat much since.  Day after Christmas I couldn't eat which is so unusual for me, I didn't eat until that night, and then that didn't sit right.

Still praying bopper...ugh.  nomless...hope you're okay!  Waving to everyone!

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

Hey, I posted yesterday and it's not here.  Bummer!

Patty, you had quite a shopping spree with the kids.  How fun.  Score on the salads, right?   We have heavy snow again today....I wish we had the rain you're getting.  Wanna trade? LOL. I hope DS is doing OK.

Bopper, lots of good wishes for pup.  I hope he's safe and warm somewhere.

Skylark, it's great the DS's surgery went well.  I hope he's doing OK.

I won't get to the workout room today.  I spent some time looking online at bikes for home use. Yesterday I did some stepping to move at least a little.  Now, laundry.

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

HI, we're under a winter storm warning, it's slowly moving up to the North starting with freezing rain, then changing over to snow and lots of wind.  Said tomorrow's commute will be dangerous...Oh joy!

Patty wishing you safe travels home.   I guess I'd rather have the snow than rain..You lunch sounds great and you have 2 salads to boot!   Hoping DS does alright too, I know how worrisome it is.   Thank you for the prayers for the pup.

Nomless did you find a bike for home?   Are you looking at any particular ones?

Skylark hoping your DS continues to improve.

Cater, Tony waving to you.

I did an outside walk this morning before it gets to bad out and then took Logan to the trail and did some strength inside.

Wishing you a blessed evening.

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

Hi, all.  It snowed more of the day yesterday, only 1/2 the team showed up at work.  Today is better.  It will be cold, but no more snow.

I'm having lunch with a friend who is visiting from TX.  She got out of town over the weekend just before the storms slammed the Dallas area.

Bopper, no, I didn't make a decision about a bike.I really would like something to give me effective cardio at home, but it needs to be SMALL.  There's really no good solution.  I need another room!

There's not much going on here.  The week between Christmas and New Year is an odd one....still sort of holiday, but not quite.  Wishing everyone a happy day.

Still hoping pup will show up, Bopper......

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Thread

Hey all, well we didn't get as much snow as they said.  We got about 5 inches.  That's better than 10 which is what they said, and not much wind.  I have been on the trail 2 times today with Logan.   Snow shoed it first to pack it down.

Nomless my Proform bike folds up super easy.  I got it on HSN, called the Xbike.  I really like it and my HR gets up when you turn up the tension, and you can stand and pedal also.  Just a thought.

Patty hope you didn't run into bad weather going home, lots of rain around that area.  I bet you are all glad to be in your own beds, even Lucy.

I made Taco soup for dinner and homemade bread, so that's our dinner tonight.

No news on the dog, I'm on a lot of different Shelter sites searching and havent' given up hope but the kids are losing their hope.  They are so worried about coyotes getting him or he froze, makes me sick.   They are talking about finding a new  puppy soon.

Keep praying he shows up please.

Blessings!
