Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

p.s.  Anyone getting the TSV?  I have one from Nordstrom's but it's too long(too much material) so I ordered another, I like this style better.  I actually ordered 2 because I couldn't decide which color.  Definitely not for dress-up but great for the movies, groceries, errands, around the house, etc...very comfortable and soft.

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Lucy, I'm not getting the TSV because it's way too long for short me, but I'd love to feel the fabric.  It sounds nice.  I'll watch to see what else they have.

It'seems weird how things disappear.  Sorry you lost your pik. I think you were here several years ago when I lost my favorite eyeshadow brush from Tova.  I used it for years and years.  I used it one morning, put it away, reached for it a few minutes later to add more shadow, and the brush was gone.  Nowhere. It's not turned up yet.  I still wonder what happened to it.

Have fun at Combat class.

It's also weird how things sometimes appear as if by magic.   Just now, in the same closet in which my brushes are lost, I found another item that'she been missing for years. Recently,  I was thinking about it, realizing I hadn'the seen it for a long time.  I wondered where it was.  Today, I moved something, and there it was!  Yay.  Proof that I have too much stuff.....some things get hidden by others.

Off to do a workout now.

Workout was hard today.  I just realized I haven'the eaten anything today. Dang. Workouts would be easier if I got some fuel in me first. So far, I'm failing on getting back on an eating schedule.  I don'feel hungry,  so eating never crosses my mind.  So bad!!

You are just doing that Intermittent fasting that everyone is talking about.  Supposedly it's good for you.  I don't eat before I got to the gym either.  You're on trend!

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Hi everyone!  No hot water.  I wanted to workout today, but that didn't happen.  My teenage son decided to stay up until about 4:30am, and I didn't sleep well.....gurr.  The hot water tank is leaking and sitting in a puddle, so I am constantly ringing out towels.  The water pressure is causing the shower head in the downstairs bathroom to constantly drip.....gallons a day, so I have a bucket and I am constantly bailing.  Not to mention the cold bath....sitting in an inch of water, then rinsing fast.  Also hand washing dishes as the dishwasher is hooked up to hot water faucet.....gurrr.  Hopefully I will get on track tomorrow!  I am most worried about the water damage around the water tank....our contractor will have to take a look after the new tank is installed.

Well, Laura, that sounds like a good excuse.  But I think I'd do better with food,  lol.

Mick, your hot water problem sounds awful.  You're a tough gal with lots of patience and seem to be taking it in stride. But what else can you do, right?  Hang in there.
