Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Morning, checking in today with TG Core Cable Flow and 3.5 Miles walking outside. It wasn't bad this morning when I went. It was frosty when I got up though but walked in a hooded sweatshirt and was comfortable.

Nomless you talk away to those ducks! I talk to all the animals too, and my birds...Maybe that Gazelle will still be there today and you can check it out.

Canine so sorry about your losses. That is hard to get over and actually I don't think you totally get over it. Sending my hugs and prayers there are better days to come.

Ppmint sounds like a very nice day there. Glad to hear DS is holding his own... one day at a time. My DH and other DS are starting fast pitch softball soon too. The fields just got the snow melted off!

I wasn't going to get groceries until tomorrow but I think I'll shower and head out to the store. It's nice and we are totally out of a few things.

Enjoy the day!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

The Gazelle was gone when I got home yesterday, Bopper. Oh, well, I probably wouldn't have liked it anyway. You had a nice long walk today. I hope your weather continues to improve.

Patty, what kind of bird is it? If you told us, I can't remember. I'm sorry your shoulder is giving you fits. DH has recovered well from his shoulder surgery, right? I know how difficult it is to decide what to do.

No news to speak of today. I'll ridge the bike again after work. I'm so tired of doing only that, but I know I need to be satisfied with it for now. Someone else in the office has developed a foot issue that sounds like PF.

Have a good evening.

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

H! Nomless- I was reading the paper this morning and had to laugh- a Louisiana firefighter used a duck ringtone to help get baby ducklings rescued. They were caught in a storm drain. He saved them and reunited them with their mother. Thought of you! Bopper- yeah I went shopping, too. Did hit high 50's once clouds and rain left but still..... Patty- still sending hugs and good thoughts. I have no report- went out for breakfast with friends, Kohls and groceries.Finished laundry when I got home and then had to come up with supper. I'll have no report tomorrow cos I have to work. I wish the iPad would post better- my posts always looks o smushed. Maybe I'll have to drag myself to the computer!! Hi canine, NoTan, future and all of other friends!! Have a great Wednesday!

Tony, what a great story. That firefighter was thinking. No doubt Mama appreciated having her babies back. Here, the ducks haven't been around this week. I guess they've flown the coop! 50 min done on the bike. Now, some dinner.

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Hi all, this morning was a walk day so did 3.25 miles and just added on another mile with Logan on the trail. Had to take a different route because it's so wet and muddy back there but it's good. We're colder though in the 40's and very windy.

Tony what a cool story about the firefighters and ducks...they do save everyone Smiley Happy

Nomless sorry it was gone, oh well hey. How is today going for you? How are the collie dog and kitty doing? Have you seen them?

Pppmint hope your having a nice day and not to busy!

FUTURE have you departed us? Come visit?

Canine My boy is getting groomed tomorrow. He won't be happy with me!

Waving to all!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

What a busy day I've had. Whew! I'm tired. I have a meeting to go to tonight, so I'll be home late and no workout.

Bopper, you had a nice walk today...twice. No doubt Logan enjoyed the trail with you. How nice of you to think of my friend's collie and new kitty...well, not so new anymore, as she got the cat back in September. The animals are doing great. Kitty is very shy, and it took her a long time to adjust to her new home, but she finally she's so have done so. My friend says kitty doesn't spend much time in her "safe" room any more, she prefers being out and about with people and collie. Kitty and collie are terrific friends, there's no tension between them at all. It's worked out so great, thanks to the effort of my friend who was very patient and took teeny-tiny baby steps while introducing kitty to her new home. It's fun to watch the two of them play together. Kitty is a ragdoll, BTW.

Logan will be so handsome after his grooming tomorrow!

Have a great evening, everyone.

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Morning, cold and windy here around 40 so I worked out in my basement. Treadmill and Total Gym...supposed to be a nice weekend though.

I have my nieces college graduation on Saturday so will be tired up most of the day. My sister is having a family BBQ and it's supposed to be nice.

Nomless what is the collie's name? They sound like the best of pals . Logan is taking a nap now. He likes car rides but he won't be happy with me later today. We still have only 1 car so we had to borrow my sons van for hubby to drive today so I could bring him there.

I don't have much news really. I am looking forward to watching The Kentucky Derby on Saturday. I always watch it...beautiful horses. My sister just got back from the Rolex in Kentucky. She has a horse here and she makes a trip each year before the derby to see the sites and the pre race stuff.

Waving to all!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Happy Friday everyone! Have bible study this morning. It's pouring and blowing. Said we could have 45mph gusts here along the water today...hope it doesn't blow my wreath, knocking my babies out of their nest!

nomless...she's a Finch but there are a couple of Cow bird eggs in there. {#emotions_dlg.glare}

Dh and I went out early yesterday morning and did 7 miles, it was fun watching the Special Ops guys do their PT on the beach. Finished mowing the grass before the heavier rain got here so I was glad about that....and took Lucy for a quick bike ride.

My core is so-ore this morning! Going to do some speed-work on the treadmill, been doing too much distance just because I love being outside, but I've been slacking on the hard part.Wink

DS finished the antibiotic so we're still holding our breath.

Well, I guess it's that time...a little treadmill and some weights, here I come. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Patty, I've never heard of cow birds, so I looked the up. Also new to e is that some species, like cow birds, are parasitic brooders who make others rear their babies. How interesting.
