Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Hi guys...have had a crazy week. I didn't even know what day it was today! Too much to get into on here...whew!

Nail polish...mmph...I have a dark gray Essie color on right now that I get a lot of compliments on...but OPI polishes are my favorite, Essie seems to chip easier on me.

nomless, my favorite everyday look is using the Orly Pink Nude(French Manicure) as my polish...then covering with clear(sounds like you'd like this too FUTURE). I've had a few people ask me what color it is...very subtle, yet classic and I don't have to change it every other day, lasts longer. Then I go darker on my toes. Sorry you had to cancel vacation.

bopper...I've been drinking more tea too. But I still have my two cups of coffee every morning. My tea is decaffeinated so I can have that in the afternoon or evening. I can't drink coffee or tea after 11 that isn't or I'd be up until 3a.m. How is your dad doing...all better??

A little cool-down here which is nice...talked to my gf this morning in WI...they are in the 20's...we're not that cool but I'm enjoying this. We were 80* on Tuesday and I got out there too late(think that was the day, I'm all messed up this week...lol), sweating bullets.

So...guess it's that time. I'm dragging this morning, I had ONE hour of sleep Tuesday night, then got a migraine yesterday afternoon. So haven't been on here much at all this week.

Oh...Lucy doing great...thanks all for asking!! She was at my gf's house and had a crab in her mouth...a large one. My gf said they've lived there for 15 years and have never seen one crab(they don't live by the water like we do so very unusual) in their yard, she has no idea where in the world she found it. She said she sees what I mean...she'd turn her head and she'd be eating a leaf...lol...she had another grasshopper in her mouth too. I know, it's gross.{#emotions_dlg.glare} DS is a little better since cutting back his dosage to one of his meds, will recheck liver enzymes again next week.

Anyway, I'm going to have to head out, cramping to beat the band but hoping they'll subside once I get going.

Waving to everyone...hope I didn't leave anyone out...my mind is a jumbled mess this week!

Pppmint sorry about your hectic week. Hope all is OK. Glad DS is holding his own..think of him a lot ..That Lucy she can find the critters can't she! Don't blink, she'll be eating something else {#emotions_dlg.laugh} Dad still has the diarrhea once a day...doc still says a bug. Other than that he feels fine, thanks.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Bopper, your snow advisory is a major bummer. Here's hoping it doesn't stick around long. And my goodness, I'm sorry about your headaches, but good for you for finally giving in and making an appt. I'm sorry your dad is still having difficulty.

Future, it's almost Friday! I hope you have fun plans.

Cater, hello to you, as well.

And guys, here's a bit of a sad note....it's been about a year since our dear Cosmetics last posted. I know we all think about her and miss her, and I wanted to acknowledge the anniversary of her last visit with us. Cosmetics, where ever you are, we remember you and offer you our prayers and hugs. You remain in our hearts and memories.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

nomless Hi to you and everyone I have been reading and you all are working your bodies. I some times wonder when one of you will come on here and say ''I am ready to go but my body says it is not going any where today" I often think about Cosmetics and how she is or what happen with her, I say a prayer that she is doing alright and just not posting. Well I have to get some treats ready for the little ones who will be here tomorrow night and some for the ones who will be ringing the bell who are way older wishing they were young. Take care everyone.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Happy Hallween everyone! It's snowing and blowing here and mighty miserable...but it is what it is....dress warm and carry on!

I did Pilates and 10 miles on my Recumbent bike today while listening to some scripture..

Nomless thank you for bringing up Cosmetics. I think of her so often and pray she has peace and she knows how much we all loved her. I think she does

Cater glad to see you drop in...we all need a push sometimes...I am afraid I will run out of candy...probably run out and grab more.

Pppmet hi and waving to you. Are you getting the windy weather on the coast? Hoping you and Lucy and DH and DS are all doing alright and you are enjoying your day!

Waving to all!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Quick swing thru...just got home from bible study, have hair appt at 1 so need to let Lucy potty and grab lunch...then have party tonight. Actually 2 but not sure about the one, would be different if dh was home.

bopper....yes, get your eyes taken care of. We will have 30 mph winds tomorrow from it but dh and them are in a mess, 500 people in tents, tons of equipment, explosives, ships, etc., they're all securing everything as best they can and trying to hunker down.

nomless....thank-you so much for mentioning cosmetic's 1-year anniversary. As you all know, I think of her often.

cater...thanks for stopping by, love to see your name pop up.

Fortunately for you all, I'm running late and can't even think of what I want to type...haha. My mind is a jumbled mess! Got the important stuff in there...I think!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Bopper, stay warm. So sorry you're in a snow storm. You did a good job on the bike today!

Patty, enjoy your parties tonight.

I have no plans for tonight. Last year, they let us off work early on Halloween so that those with kids could go home and get ready for trick and treating. I was so hoping they'd let us off early today, but they didn't. I've been scrambling trying to get things done that I had planned to do on my vacation days, but since that time off was canceled, things have been hectic here. I took my car in for an oil change during lunch today, so that's out of the way. I'm still trying to figure out when to get other things done. But, I'm not complaining... just grumbling a little...because being busy is good. Everything will get done, no need to fret. (Yep, that's a mantra I tell myself sometimes.)

I'll to do TG later this evening. Have a fun Halloween, everyone!
