Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Hi, all. Was feeling it today, so I made a yummy pasta salad, did that load of laundry, and hit the gym for spin class!! Woo-hoo!! My sweet hubby folded the laundry while I was gone (you guys would crack up if you saw how he folded some of it -- I was trying not to laugh!) Hope you all have a great night!!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Busy today and had no time to post.

I do hope Lucy is OK. Am wondering if she'll have to stay at the hospital a day or two.....IIRC, they do want females to stay in a hospital for a bit. I hope she's OK.

Hi, Bopper. Yea! No rain!! I'm happy you were able to get outside with Logan for a bit.

I'll do TG tonight.

A big wave to you all. Have a good evening.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Hi everyone! We had a long night last night but I pretty much knew it would be. They had to pull 4 teeth too so the poor baby is hurting all over! Poodles are known for some of their baby teeth not falling out, hers had roots even. So she was under for a long time.

The vet said she woke up out of anesthesia squawking...haha. They said she's a strong little girl, she was walking and jogging all over the place right after the surgery...so that's the hard part now, will have to keep an eye on her and can't let her move around too much. She did some moaning last night which just broke our hearts...so hard when they can't tell you what they're thinking...she was probably wondering why we dropped her off to be hurt.{#emotions_dlg.sad}

I was a nervous wreck when I dropped her off yesterday, she's just so tiny. Got it together and headed out, ended up having my best run since we've been here. I stopped at this place where people do exercises by the beach and did box jumps, lunges, squats, and push-ups. It's on a hill and you overlook the Atlantic Ocean...very peaceful and just what I needed.

Waving to everyone!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

I'm glad to know Lucy is OK, Patty. I'm sorry she's hurtujg a little bit. I hope she feels better today. Keeping her activity level low will be a challenge....maybe she won't feel like running today. I'm so glad this is behind you....one worry is off your plate. Continued good wishes and prayers fot DS.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Thanks nomless!

No, I won't even try to take her on our usual for a couple of weeks at least. He said no activity at all for at least 3 days, then a couple of weeks we need to keep it low-key...I usually take her then put her in the kennel and go myself but will really have to shorten her jaunts period.

She'll have to be happy with a bike-ride for a while but not even that for a few days...lol. I would imagine the bouncing would be bad.

Have a great day!! {#emotions_dlg.wub}
