I suffer from occasional "restless leg syndrome".  I find that if I wrap my legs tights it helps.  I have been thinking that a weighted blanket may help.  I know they are used in people with nervous problems and autism.  I think the feeling would be like swaddling a baby to keep it calm.

My my sister uses one and says it helps some with restless legs @Miss Shelly.

i have severe ra and I could not get comfortable with the blanket..

it made my pain worse and after trying for 3 nights, back it went.

I do do not have anxiety l.my biggest issue is night pain.

I am happy that that it works well for a lot of folks..I am obviously not one.🤪

@sydsgma1, I have severe RA too. Usually by the end of the day I have a lot of pain. I'm no longer able to take Meloxicam for pain due to GI bleeding after so many years of it.. The IV and Methotrexate are not quite enough to control it. I use a Bidderford heated mattress pad. I usually turn it on to warm the sheets and then when I am more relaxed I turn it down or off. I would wake up in a sweat if it stayed on all night. It has dual controls for each side of the bed. You do not need heavy covers. I use a sheet and light blanket. It has been a great help to me and helps me to get a more restorative deep sleep which is so important.
