@Shelbelle , I'm in Pa.and our Wegman's have a few aisles of beers and wines. There's a state store across the highway and Wegman's is about 2 miles on either side from beer stores. Must be a lot of drinkers in my area.

Not saying I am a fan of hers but a few years ago, Whoopi Goldberg was on a big campaign to have HFCS outlawed in this country.

Some of the food vendors on the Q still use it.

No Wegman's yet in Florida but there is some recent research on sweetners that's pushing changes from brands other than Wegman's.

At one time I consumed lots of sugar and lots of sweetners, too.  Now, both are products I limit-  but I keep in mind that when the research reveals new data, today's good ideas can become tomorrow's disasters and what was thought to be dangerous might not be. That's been going on with sweetners for many decades already.

There's definitely other reasons.  Sugar is incredibly unhealthy and they sell plenty of products that full of sugar.  They sell fried chicken and we know what fried foods do to the body.
