Week Two of the NFL Regular Season!!!

We start off this week on Thursday night with the Jets at the Patriots. I'm thinking I'll go with the Patriots despite their injuries and near lost last week.

Saint Louis goes to Atlanta. This could be a close game. I've got Atlanta going to the Super Bowl though, so I'm giving them the edge this week.

Cleveland goes to Baltimore. Baltimore should win, but Baltimore is a bit hard to predict any more. I'm still giving the Ravens the edge this week. Whoever wins will be guaranteed a tie for first place in the AFC North.

Carolina goes to Buffalo. I'm giving the edge to the Bills here.

Minnesota goes to Chicago. Adrian Peterson's first rush last week was seventy some yards and then he didn't do a whole lot after that. I'm giving the edge to Chicago. Their turf is not ideal for a speedy runner so they should keep Peterson in check.

Washington goes to Green Bay. Both teams are coming off a loss. Im thinking Green Bay will win this week. RGIII needs another week or two to shake off the rust. Green Bay didn't play well last week, but they're still a good team.

Tennessee goes to Houston. I like the Texans here.

Miami goes to Indy and I like the Colts.

Dallas goes to Kansas City. Andy Reid knows the Cowboys and his teams always give them trouble. Playing in KC is never easy and that crowd will be wild after last week's win. I'm going with KC. They're going to surprise some people this year.

San Diego comes to Philly. Week two of the Chip Kelly experiment plays out this week. I'm picking the Eagles to win, but I wouldn't put any money on it. It could be a rout for either team or it could end up close. I just don't have a good feel for this game. I'm a little afraid the Eagles will let down a bit after last week's game and assume teams will roll over and play dead. San Diego will throw some new stuff at the Eagles and I'm not sure how quickly Chip will be able to adjust. We left a lot of points on the field against the Redskins and we can't afford to keep doing that. I'm nervous about this game. I'm picking the Eagles, but we tend to play poorly at home. West coast teams coming East tend to have a hard time, but this game scares me for some reason.

Detroit goes to Arizona. This is a coin toss game for me. I'll give an edge to Arizona, but it's a toss-up game to me. I'm thinking Larry Fitzgerald will want to outshine Calvin Johnson and maybe he will.

New Orleans goes to Tampa Bay. I've got New Orleans in this one.

Denver comes to New Jersey to play the Giants in the Manning Bowl. Eli Manning is currently running out of running backs who can hold onto the ball, so I'm going with Peyton Manning and the Broncos here.

Jacksonville goes to Oakland. In this early battle for that first overall pick in the 2014 draft, I'll give the edge to Oakland to win the game and slide back in the race for that first overall pick.

San Francisco goes to Seattle. I'll pick Seattle simply because they're hard to beat in Seattle.

And finally Pittsburgh plays Cincinnati. Desperation time comes early this year. Neither team can really afford to take a second loss this early. Pittsburgh looked horrible last week. I'm giving an edge to Cincinnati.

Fly!!! Eagles!!! Fly!!!
