So, in a situation where you have to pick a team to win and it's a team you hate or a team you despise, you tend to cheer for the team you hate over the team you despise.
cindyinfl. Yeah, I'm not sure what happened down in Jacksonville. They finished last year looking pretty good and they had a pretty good draft and free agency. I really thought they'd come out playing pretty well. Instead they're playing horribly. I don't know if it's a team chemistry issue, or maybe an issue where the coaching staff has lost the team, but they're playing horribly right now and seem like a lock for that first overall pick. The Giants, Rams and Raiders are right down there with them fighting for that pick, but right now, the Jags seem to be the favorite for it. I think throwing Bortles in at quarterback may give the team a spark, but how do you put a kid in behind that offensive line the way they're playing? I like what I've seen of Gus Bradley and the way he rallied the team last year, but his tenure is likely to be very short if they don't wake up and start playing better football.
GARDENMAN---LOL I love love love your explanation of hate versus despise.....

@%#&$@*%@# - Can I say that?
appears the cowboys were DOA. So long boys, switching over to Texan game. And if things don't go well there, just may have to order those turtle earrings.

Well Capt Kirk is doing well on offense ....but oh those SPECIAL TEAMS ONCE AGAIN KILLED US and a big difference in the game!!!
Meanwhile my DS called and says she's salsa dancing along with Victor Cruz....

Blake Bortles started the second half for Jacksonville. This was the most excitement Jaguars fans have had all day; Bortles got a large ovation.
This game is going all Indy's way, so far. They're leading 30-0 in the 3rd quarter. Jacksonville looks like they've stepped up, but it may be too little, too late for them.

Apparently in last week's Colts game, too.
What are you going to do? I do wish it would be consistent.

Whew!!!! It's a win and I'll take it, but these NFC East games take a good ten years off my life. We'll likely be bringing in a few more bodies at offensive line with Kelce going down. An "abdominal injury" usually means a sports hernia and they're seldom good. That was likely a very big win for us. Now on to San Francisco next week. After that we get the Rams and Giants and a very, very needed bye. It's likely we'll enter the bye no worse than 4-2 and could be as good as 6-0. That's not a bad way to start the season.

HI GARDENMAN......
CONGRATS on you win! It was a hard fought KNOCK 'EM/SOCK 'EM NFC East battle in more ways than one....
I am just sick of the Redskin's errors on Special Teams.....SHEESH!!! And a missed FG too!
But Kirk Cousins played very well overall---even though he had one INT. He had 2 dropped but catchable passes too ....look how the offense moved after struggling to make one TD with Robert....
Both of our defenses need some work.....and injuries haven't helped....at least Kerrigan was pressuring the QB....but when D Hall went out our secondary was in shambles and not sure how serious....short week and the Giants are up next, they now have some confidence after their win too....
ALSO CONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNERS!
And yes Sunshine thank me and Gardenman for your close call....BTW did you jinx my team....
