HI EVERYONE.
I live in Jacksonville, Fl, and Gardenman is right- they are such a mess this early in the season! I was hoping they would be better this year, but so far, no go. Already, the "fans" here are getting upset with the team and coaching staff.
I am originally from Dallas, so of course, the Cowboys are in my DNA. I also like Seattle, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay (what a rout by Atlanta last night), but I like Lovie Smith. I hope he can turn this team around this year.
Will be watching with great interest all the game this weekend. Love fall and football season !!

teganslaw. Speaking on Yellowrose's behalf allow me to explain the situation. It's not that Cowboy fans like the Eagles, they don't, but they despise the Redskins. So, in a situation where you have to pick a team to win and it's a team you hate or a team you despise, you tend to cheer for the team you hate over the team you despise.
cindyinfl. Yeah, I'm not sure what happened down in Jacksonville. They finished last year looking pretty good and they had a pretty good draft and free agency. I really thought they'd come out playing pretty well. Instead they're playing horribly. I don't know if it's a team chemistry issue, or maybe an issue where the coaching staff has lost the team, but they're playing horribly right now and seem like a lock for that first overall pick. The Giants, Rams and Raiders are right down there with them fighting for that pick, but right now, the Jags seem to be the favorite for it. I think throwing Bortles in at quarterback may give the team a spark, but how do you put a kid in behind that offensive line the way they're playing? I like what I've seen of Gus Bradley and the way he rallied the team last year, but his tenure is likely to be very short if they don't wake up and start playing better football.

Hey Tegan, gardenman said it. That and the fact that I think the Eagles are going to run away with leading our divison anyway. I may as well hope for a Wash. loss.
thurs. night game was a huge disappointment. I stopped watching middle of 2nd.

Thank you SPURT! I hope you are right about my Bills. We are going to the game and the weather is supposed to be warm and thunderstorms. What fun, lol! May have to check out the new bar area at the other end of the stadium, I think it's covered - I hope!
I've got my lucky #12 Kelly Tough T-shirt in the wash and I'll be wearing my lucky turtle earrings. (and thank you SPURT - They are CP and I saw that you had posted a positive review so since I love turtles I got them, and since I was wearing them week one, you know, I have to wear them even though they don't go with my Red & Blue Bills gear, lol!)
Good luck to everyone and their teams!

And it's game day!!! the Eagles play Washington in the early game today. The press has tried to make this the DeSean Jackson game, but I'm pretty sure he won't be playing, or if playing, not effective. Shoulders are kind of important. The big key in this game is the Eagles starting right offensive tackle Andrew Gardner. He's our fourth string right tackle. (Our starter Lane Johnson is still serving a four game suspension, his backup Barbre is gone for the year with ankle surgery, the third string guy Tobin is still recovering from a high ankle sprain, so we're down to guy number four. As a general rule there's a bit of a drop-off from your first string guy to your fourth string guy. That will be the match up to watch in today's game. If Gardner plays well, the Eagles should win. If he plays badly, we're in big trouble.

SPURT, good luck in stopping Sproles Sunday. If Washington can figure out how to contain him they'll be one step ahead.
I thought Jacksonville would be a better team this season; hopefully, I'm wrong, at least when they play the Colts.
I think it's a toss-up between the Bears and Jets. I don't trust either team. If nothing else, the Jets make things entertaining.
On the Colts message boards, someone has started a thread called "What's worse than 0-2?" Some people have come up with good answers. Have to find humor in the situation, somehow.
Hey TEGAN-
I'm not only worried about Sproles, it's our weak secondary too......so I'm worried not only about their running game, but their passing game too...YIKES!
