The Eagles play tonight against the Bears. We've been hearing a lot of positive stuff about a few of the rookies, so it'll be good to see them for real.

Am I ready for some football? You bet! After the Texans dismal 2-14 season last year anything will be an improvement. Looks like we will be strong on defense this year-- not to sure about our offense. We play tomorrow so it will be interesting to see our new coaching staff and QB. Then again, maybe we can go 1-15 and actually draft a QB as the number 1 draft pick. As an Aggie, still bummed we didn't trade up for Manziel. Not too sure about Fitzpatrick.

The Seahawks played the Bronco's and I for one was really taken back by the headline in their paper the next day that the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl was a fluke. You were beat fair and square in fact beat big and stop being such poor losers!! It was only a pre-season game wait till we meet you again for real. GO HAWKS!!!

Love, love, love football....However, my Patriots really were terrible against the Washington Redskins. It was a bit disappointing but considering almost all the good players did not play, I won't get too concerned.

Here in Dallas, my sports radio had more fun trying to "Jerry Spot" on Thursday. Nary a peep. With the addition, last year, of Sky Mirror located near the stadium, they figured aliens finally found him. Hee. . What else are we going to focus on this year?

No sight of Jerry Jones before, during or after the game. How Nice. If wife Gene has him in the doghouse due to his scandal, hope she keeps him there.

Defense looked worse than I even expected. Chargers had their way with us. Our offense only scored 7 points. That was disappointing. Weeden looked pretty good, and I expect Vaughn to be our #3 QB. There are some players that I look forward to seeing again in game #2.
