Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD AND MORE

Hi everyone...sounds like your all doing good...and your getting nicer weather.

@JudyL glad your getting out on some walks...hope your knee is getting much better.

@bopper ...yes im glad the car situation is taken care of..it'll last a long time if she does the proper maintenance.

My horse Breezies leg seems/ looks better.

Farrier told me spray it with listerine for several weeks...he said its an old time remedy...he used while he had race horses.

I'm still needing to maintain her feet as often as possible..we think her feet are hurting her...but she's acting just fine.

Water softener is in...he had to make 3 trips to Lowes and he had hard time yesterday, especially dragging out the old one...and being hot and humid here adds to the stress.  He was pretty beat yesterday.

As some of you may know... I posted on the beauty forum, i burnt my face.  Over did scrubbing with rice polish and I applied a toner immediately following that sent me through the roof...I quickly rinsed with cold water, but the damage was already done.

Doubt I'll walk next couple days because I dont want my face to get all sweaty and ill need a sunscreen too.

I have to leave it alone now and let it heal.

All said...I think im moving foward and took care of some important matters.

 Have a great Sunday 🌞

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD AND MORE

Good afternoon.  Not feeling all that great today.  Was almost Noon before I felt like taking a shower and getting dressed.  Don't think I"ll be walking today unless later in the afternoon I feel a lot better.  Will take it easy and watch football.

Have a good Sunday!

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD AND MORE

Monday has arrived!   I didn't post yesterday.   No formal workout yesterday, a couple short walks, and football.

@Dazlin you face sounds painful and I can't imagine the pain after the toner!  Glad Breezies leg is better.

@JudyL hope you feel better

Not sure what I"ll do today, feeling tired and out of sorts.

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD AND MORE

Good morning everyone!

Catching up on laundry I got backed up with because of the water softener...was still tinkering with it yesterday..setting programs and charging it...what an inconvenience.

I'm feeling blah too...not doing much and no walk...weather is miserable.  That storm will ride out coast then turn out to sea...shouldn't be anything much...just some bands of rain and wind gusts.

We have a banking appointment later, so at least that'll get us out...maybe eat out too...we need a break.

Tomorrow I have my ENT appointment, been waiting 2 months.  I really really dread going 😩.

@bopper ...just do what you feel like...I do think those walks are good and your weather is nice now...maybe go later, and you'll sort your thoughts, etc...its something.

I'd go too, it helps my mind...but my skin, and heat ...im just so not motivated.

@JudyL ...hope your feeling better.

I posted back to you on beauty forum, mistakingly thought it was you that asked about my horses irritating my skin...but I realized it's another judy similar user name as yours....in case you wondered why I posted you.

Ok everyone...another day...make the best of it! 🌞

[ Edited ]

Good morning everyone.  Feeling much better today.

Went for a 20 minute walk at 6:30 this morning.  Even though I am not a morning person, I love going for a walk at that hour.  Very few people are out, the birds are waking up, and love watching the sky get lighter.  May go for a short walk this evening after dinner.  Right now, splitting my walks into 2 seems to be working for me.

Going to be an overcast, somewhat cool-ish day here today.  Should probably do some laundry and need to get cat food.  Have a good day whatever you decide to do.

@Dazlin  - Don't worry about the Beauty post.  I figured you meant the other Judy.

Update:  Tonight after dinner I went on a 10 minute walk around the complex.  It is humid here!  We're not used to that.

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD AND MORE

Hello, I'm watching Playoff baseball!  Go Tigers!  I know not may females are glued to TV for sports but I am!

I did 2 miles this morning and 10 minutes lay down ab bouncing on the rebounder.

@JudyL glad you are feeling better, we have had a lot of humidity even when it's cooler out its damp.   We're not even light here until 7:45 right now, almost 8 am before we are light, I don't like that and we change out time in November to fall back!

@violet runner I got my new jeans from Halara, another winner, so comfortable and light weight I'm not hot in them.

I hope we all have a good day today!

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD AND MORE

@bopper  I sent the Amazon jeans back.. TOO big- all over- not a good look- that hardly ever happens to me. Usually too small.

Halara is now on my radar. Can you share which styles you like? Thanks.

My DH has covid!! He golfed with a buddy whom 2 days prior went to Boston to visit family. Masked on the plane, but could have gotten it when at his family dwelling. The day they golfed he didn't feel well, and the next day tested pos. Over the weekend my DH didn't feel well on Sunday. I thought it was because of the Packer/ Cowboy game! HA! Yesterday he tested and was pos. for covid- did another test today - same thing.

Luckily I got a vaccine 2 weeks ago.. and the weather is nice- i have the doors and windows open and fans going.. DH also got a vaccine- so maybe will lessen the symptoms. It's his very first time getting covid.

I went to the rec center- and then took a nice long walk. Already have my desired steps in- but may take another walk later on.

@bopper  sports family here- wish we had a baseball team to route for. The Rockies ended up losing 119 games this season. I think 3rd  worst in baseball history and not far from 1 and 2. UGH!

Now my Broncos put on a nice showing last night.  Finally a decent win.

Enjoy the last day of September...
