Happy Monday!
Did my R30 bike class. Have my stuff packed for a hike after work also today. I just realized that's not going to happen anymore with the time change. It takes me about two hours and it will be close to dusk once the time change happens in November. I'll be back to weekend hikes. Not sure how I feel about that.
Anyway, have a great day!

@Laura14 and on the other end of daylight being shorter... I like early morning walking and it's pretty dark then too.. I do haver the luxury of going anytime.. but we do have our preferences don't we? Can you shorten your time to an hour? I have done that- and if you feel safe- use a headlamp which I also do... or my mini flashlight. These days I don't feel as safe anymore.. and age thing? Or getting smarter as I age! HA!
What did you do last year? Were you working from home?
I got in a nice walk in nature yesterday.. Fall colors are just past peak, but still put on a show.
I have a busy week- lots of meet ups and appts.. Why did I set them all at once? None of the appts are pressing.. just yearly exams and a hair appt - those types of appts are ok- but disrupt my day...
Have a good day everyone..

@violet runner Our parks close at sundown. I'm not sure the cops would come and get me, but I do like to play by the rules and safety would be an issue especially after that guy came after me, although that was on the other side that I never go on anymore.
I could only walk the one trail, but I like to do them both and loop. It's okay. I just don't like being forced to have to wait until the end of the week. It makes me feel more accomplished and safer if I get the big one out of the way on day one of the new exercise week. I am too much of a slave to my Garmin minutes. 😂
It's a good lesson to let it go, Laura...
Off to work. Have a good week and hope everything goes smoothly with all those appointments.

Hi, everybody. Glad everyone is well.
Yesterday morning, I took a huge haul of stuff to Goodwill. Several shoes, boots and purses in a heavy duty garbage bag, two Ninja air fryers, one of them that huge multi use one from QVC. Just bought it last year. That thing was holy heck to clean. The smaller one was older but only used about for times. I learned from that fryer not to buy a round one. Funny, my tried and true air fryer is used almost everyday and cost the least, Corsori brand. It a square and holds more than the expensive Ninja. I needed the counter space and figured somebody could use it. I also gave an orange iron Le Cruset(?) pot. There was a man dropping off some stuff and I asked him if he'd be so kind as to help with the large Ninja air fryer and he said "sure". Ladies when he saw me carrying that Le Creuset pot, he said it was really nice, like new but way too heavy for me now. I said, "you're welcome to take it", lol. He gladly did. I have/ a lot of nice but old in years stuff but actually new. It's time to give it up. I had at least two pairs of boots that were worn maybe twice....new purses, too. Just shows how much QVC used to lure me in.
I'm gonna do a walking YouTube video in a little bit. I think I'm gonna eat breakfast first. Trying to do a lot of protein but I'm sick of what I usually eat these days....a low carb tortilla round with bacon and one egg. It's filling but mainly quick. Later, I'll have a Cosmic 🍎, love them. Anybody ever use those bagged salads from Taylor Farms? A lot of variety.....I just add chicken...oh, I'm tired of chicken, too, lol.
Have a great day......

I am on your heels @Mmsfoxxie . I have a donation company coming next week I think. Time to get rid of the clothes that I just swap back and forth every season and never wear.
My go to is romaine lettuce that I dress with goat cheese and I buy these Perdue chicken tenders or rounds and heat them up and toss them on there all cut up. It's a fantastic easy salad that I bring to work with me almost every day.
Have a great week!

Actually, Perdue chicken tenders were on my mind if the rotisserie chickens weren't ready, @Laura14. With a sprinkle of Everything But the Bagel seasoning sprinkled on it. Good idea!

@Mmsfoxxie I never thought of doing that seasoning on it. That's a fantastic idea! I put it on my shopping list for the next trip.
I finally made my hike today. Note to self: don't do a Ride class and then try and hike. My legs were not happy on the inclines. Thought I'd be okay with am and pm, but no.
Had a guy come up right behind me on the trail towards the end and I barely heard him until he was on top of me. He had a stick in his hand, but didn't pull anything. Just a guy without a clue like we're all used to.
I realized some of the canopies that were curved over the trails are also gone since the hurricane. They were really beautiful in Spring and Summer with the greenery arching over the trails. Hope they come back.
The fallen tree is still there. Not sure why they haven't chopped it yet. The horses must be ticked. I guess they ride around. I also keep seeing the deer that are busy chomping at the last of the grass.
It was hot today so we are back to Indian summer. I am a little excited for winter and the time change. I like the cozy time of year and early evenings again.
World Series time! I like both teams so it will be interesting to see who wins. With the Mets gone, I am a happy girl. ![]()
Have a great night all!

Didn't jog around the block today, however, I did do 3 round trips on my stairs and 3 trips to the dumpsters.
Heard the Dodgers made it to the World Series. When I was growing up in So Cal, that was my Dad's favorite baseball team. We would be enjoying a summer evening out in the backyard and in the background on the radio would be a Dodgers game. Those were Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale days.....just a few years ago.......

Hello, it's another beautiful day here. We are past peak color here as well and actually many trees are now bare. The wind has taken down all the leaves.
Today I did a 30 minute lower body vibration plate workout followed with a stretch and a outside walk. Still seems so weird without Logan. I have my mace spray now for loose dogs.
I'm always excited for WS too but I don't like either team haha! Never have been a fan of the Yankees or Dogers. My husband told me how much money is invested in these top teams. Now if it had been Detroit I'd be a screaming fool!!

Another bike ride class this morning. I read a book while I did it.
Hope everyone has a great day.
