Good day, everyone!  Had to come to the  office today. Boo.  Spent an hour in traffic instead of starting work at 6:30 at home.

 

My workout today will be my dance lesson and then I have a trainer workout tomorrow, but will supplement with a trip to the gym for cardio.

 

Not much to say because I can't really stay on personal sites because my computer is in full view of anyone who walks by.

Happy Hump Day!   Can't believe it's Wednesday already.

 

Still feeling crappy and blowing my nose.  All I did was walk the snowy trail for 30 minutes.  It's so deep in spots.  In other spots a snow machine had packed it down so I could stay there. 

 

Cleaning the house and wishing it was Spring.  

 

Hoping everyone has a good day and still keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers!

Good Morning,

 

Last night I did Yoga for renewal to get another long one out of the way. This morning was Yoga for upper body strength. 

 

Huge thank you to those who suggested supplements. They have finally kicked in and I have slept through the night like normal the past two nights. 

 

I also started tracking my water and making use of my planner. Left work to take advantage of a real lunch break the past several work days while I still can and it's been nice. Self care is where it's at.

my eye update... after a 4 hour appt at the retina  specialist.. I indeed had a  aneurysm and she lasered it..  She is certain that I have high bood pressure which  correlates most frequently with this.. SOOO as things tend to snowball when you go to fix one thing, I have an appt on the 11th to address treatment for high bp with my  doc.. also on the docket is cataract  surgery on the 16th.. 

  I am not allowed to lift heavy for a few weeks  so yesterday didn't go to the rec center , but a going this morning and will do cardio... If I stop going its so easy to let it slide. And its good to keep mioving in whatever way we can.. Plus I think I'm addicted to the place.. HA!  

    @bopper  hope each day you feel better.. and @DrKelli   hard to be back at the office. I have a couple of friends adjusting to commuting again too.

  Wonderfully warm here and of course coming to end.. Snow and cold for the weekend.

Will take the  reprieve for now..

Happy Thursday!

 

Still feeling like poo but training slow and smart.   Did treadmill for 30 minutes and the bike for 20 minutes.   10 minutes Total gym upper body.

 

My throat is a little red which is why it kind of stings when I swallow but it is what it is and it will eventually leave.  I gargled with salt water...ewww gagged a few times... 

 

Sun is out but dang it 16 is cold.   When I got up it was 1 below 0.   I am envious of those who have decent weather where you can actually go outside with no coat.

 

Keep pushing forward and if you don't feel well and you feel you can do something at a slower pace do that.  Listening to your body is what you have to do and if that's self care then do that.

 

@violet runner  so sorry you have all this stuff going on.   Glad they fixed the eye though but you most likely will need to be on BP meds.   Some things we just can't control.  Just stay strong and know you are not alone in your health.

 

I think I"ll sit in the kitchen in my little lawn chair ( Yes I brought it inside) and put it in a sunny spot and drink some coffee.  At least I can pretend it's Spring.

@bopper Hold that thought. It is almost 80 here today which means I had zero excuse to not go out and weed the landscape that was overgrown from 'winter.' I had a horrific morning at work and ran away for a bit at lunch. Yard work was quite therapeutic.

Happy Friday!

Took a rest day today.  Got groceries and am just doing stuff around here.   I want to be ready for the new Kaleigh program starting on Monday cycling and strength.

 

I think I may have turned a corner.  We'll see.   Lots of blowing so getting the ****** out of me.

 

And we are under yet another Winter advisory for tomorrow.   Snow,ice, and freezing rain.. 

 

Bought a small humidifier for the bedroom so I"m hoping that helps with the dryness when I sleep.  Only holds a gallon of water and I'll probably have to buy distilled because our water is so hard and full of minerals.

 

Keep praying for Ukraine.

Took a rest day yesterday to recover from an extremely stressful week. This morning did root to rise yoga so that's one decent thing to begin a new week. Made my 150 goal again this morning for the past seven days too.

 

Will be making a huge batch of sweet potato hash for the week this morning and prepping some salads as well.
