 @JudyL , When the wind events were predicted I charged everything and I went to Costco and bought batteries -all sizes.. I too have flamless candles and a couple of lanterns that take batteries.. Loved that you mentioned having lip balm  in your order- you'll be ready !!! HA! @bopper  happy to hear your son's power is back on.

   I agree with  you all. Will be glad to have the holidays done... I'll enjoy my family on Wed.. but then will put my feet up and glide into Xmas..  As for New  Year's- watch the ball drop in NYC-  We are 2 hours earlier here so I do make it to 10 pm. I'm not sure the ball drops anymore in NY. Of course, I am donning my  pj's by then. 

 It's mild here, so took another short walk.

Hello, today is more a down day for me as I'm kind of sore all over.  I did the rebounder and vibration plate for 30 minutes and calling it good.  

@violet runner We will also be rocking in the NY home in our jammies, and most likely will not make it to midnight.  

My son said 75 today in CO!   I mean seriously, who needs FL when you can go to CO right!!  We're at 16!!!   Crazzzzy!

I'm having a lazy day, don't care!  Hallmark and coffee.  Anyone in with me?

Looks like we are both licking our wounds, @bopper - Lions and Broncos lost! We got manhandled by the Jaguars..  Wasn't pretty... Next is Xmas Day and we are playing the Chiefs..

 And yes, it's warm here. Not quite 70, but close. I spent the morning @ bfast with my son and GS- My son's bday. A nice way to start the week..  

I walked and then walked again.. How could not?

   Tomorrow is rec center day and then cooking everything I can ahead of time as our celebration is going to be Xmas Eve Day..

@bopper and @violet runner  - The ending to the Lions game WAS CRAZY!  Wonder if they will fine the player that had that altercation with the fan?  The refs didn't see it but the TV sure played it often enough.

Good afternoon.

I had a dentist appt this morning, then stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get a few things.  It was pouring rain here earlier today but has now stopped.  More is supposed to be on the way.  It's rather chilly - and guess who talked me into opening the front door?  I'm now sitting on the couch wrapped in a blanket so Miss Willow can be "on guard."  She loves watching it rain but I will draw the line on that when it starts up again.

No workout for me today.  Just don't feel like it.  Enjoy the rest of your day!

Good Monday afternoon all...

Got a 1 hour walk in this morning!!

My body felt pretty good, no aches...feet did good until last 1/2 mile.

Im looking forward to those Hokas.

I got 3 sets of 15 squats done, and stationary lunges before I went.

 Then it all starts and keeps going...im up since 630 and didn't stop till 3 pm.

My daughter came by to drop off some gifts...so I made her pizzas and biscotti cookies. 

Breakfast for this guy, and Philly cheese steaks for dinner.

Doing more laundry.   I really dont want to do anything more next few days except prepare and cook for Christmas, and clean bathrooms. 

 Then my lovely dawg knocked over the Christmas tree 🎄  all bent, batteries flew out and snow flocking all over... its back up, and im staring at the floor  I already vacuumed....the "H" with it !!   Im done here!

 No @bopper ....I dont think i ever take a down day....so you go right ahead and relax and enjoy!!   You work out BIG TIME!!

  I was hoping to walk again tomorrow....but im making the sauce, and I think I should go out and get my daughters guy friend a gift....hes coming for Christmas and I dont have anything for him.   I only met him a couple times...no nothing there, no friendship,  but i feel awkward.   Other daughter said, dont get anything, hes coming to dinner!!

Idk....maybe a Tshirt??

@violet runner .. so good your able to still  get out and walk, etc...I would  be a wreck, knowing what's waiting for me to be done....I sadly cannot relax until I get everything out of the way....sighhhhh. 

  Hey, im over 8,000 steps....im gonna make it 10,000 before this day is done 😃

@JudyL ...I saw your state on the news this morning,  and so much rain and flooding....sure hope you fair well, especially this time of year....poor people having to go through that.
