Hi Friends!!
Well, this is the big week. Ensemble is being filmed on Thursday and Friday. Apparently the entire show will be streamed at some point. They are just asking for donations to the American Lung Cancer charity (Through the link that will be provided). So if you would like to see the show--I'll give you the info when I get it.
I danced for 2 hours on Saturday but my partner in the ensemble stepped right on my injured toe--which of course was in my Latin shoes--open toed. OUCH!!
I'm not doing any extra workouts this week because I am literally dancing every night but tonight.
My niece is getting married today. She is going to facetime it so that my mom and I can "be there".
I'm so glad I have you all to interact with every day. I'm going to be lonesome when my mom goes back to Arizona on Sunday.
Have a great day, y'all!!

Hey y'all, Motivation Monday!!! Come on Now!!!!
Did a 34 minute Dance to the oldies I found on YouTube and it says it's for Seniors and I have to laugh because my age indicates that is a Senior but I sure don't feel like a Senior and it was so fun and my HR was up there. Then did 30 on the treadmill, and 30 on the Total gym using Rosalie Brown's Go and Slow program. Who here has the TG ? @Laura14 is that you? I"m really into my TG and not so much in the Yoga now. I go in spurts but it's all good as long as you are moving and burning more than you eat right?
I ordered the Lunchtime Quilt set. In King. I have a Q bed but with a feather bed and foam topper I wanted the extra coverage on the sides. I haven't gotten a new bed set for ever!
It's in the 60's here and the windows are open. Hooray for Quiet. No AC, no Fans!!!
My grandson in CO who is just 1 gave us all a scare. 103.3 fever yesterday and very Lathargic. Went to Childrens hospital with him. Was tested for Covid and got that back today, negative. Has double ear infection and was very dehydrated. They got him to take some bottle at the hospital thank God so he was not admitted with IV. Today he is some better and even had a smile on his face. I was so worried about this little guy.
@DrKelli dancing sure burns the calories. Have fun this week and we are your family here!
Waving to everyone, busy making my hubby's bread for his lunches. We don't buy it anymore.
Stay safe!

@bopper Not me. I have a bike but no gym. Glad to hear your grandson is okay. I did buy myself a new yoga mat and workout outfit this weekend. I also got a new flavor of tea. 🤣. It's the little things that keep you happy. ![]()

@bopper I'm the one who has a TG. I used it a lot when we first went into lock down, but since I've been dancing so much, I haven't used it in a couple of months.

Good Morning,
Off to work again for the week (boo!) but did the yoga for the day. Quick ten minute routine today. I'll probably do something more tonight.
Have a great day!

Good morning, group! Happy a Tuesday!
@bopper, no you don't act a senior either, lol. None of you do. Since this pandemic, I feel like one as well as being one. My activities outside of the house are so missed. I'm sure everybody is in the same boat, though.
I have my Zumba class this morning...really looking forward to it. I heard last night that my neighboring fitness center in Indiana now will only have ten in a group exercise class. Haven't heard that here in Illinois but I'm gonna get there early enough to sign in. As far as I know the quota is still 15 people.
Have a great day!

Good morning, all! Add me to the people who have had something go wrong with their houses. This morning at 5:30, I was in the bathroom getting ready for work and heard this loud noise. Couldn't figure out what it was and then looked in my closet. All the shelving and racks had come out of the wall and I have that on 4 sides of the closet--two of the big sides were the ones that came out of the wall, plus half the short section. I'm hoping a handyman can fix it. But I will have to take ALL the clothes out of the closet. If this isn't someone's way of telling me that I have too much, I don't know what is.
@Mmsfoxxie I know exactly what you mean. My mom is very isolated and even though I work during the day, at least she has company at night while she is here. She goes back home on Sunday.
No actual workout today because I have ensemble practice tonight. This is the LAST late Tuesday (but I'm sure Thursday will be late because it is filming night) and I'm really not looking forward to Friday because it is an on location shoot.
Hope you all have a greaat day!!

I have to respond to this post now because I notice that when I wait til the next day, I usually forget, lol.....
@DrKelli , oh no! I hope it didn't make a hole in the wall. Years ago, the pole in one closet broke in half from the weight of my clothes. Just like you, I had to take everything out until it replaced. Now, I try to make sure most of the weight isn't in the middle.
If your closet isn't custom, yes, a handyman can fix that. Less money that way.

Good morning! Checking in real quick before I sign in at work. 45 minute Leslie Sansone workout done this morning. The arthritis in my ankle is acting up so some I couldn't do but still managed to get a good sweat and keep my heart beat up according to my FitBit.
@DrKelli - oh no! about your closet! Yikes! That must have been a horrible noise. Probably like the day my sliding glass door shattered. That was loud too.
Hope everyone has a good day

Happy Tuesday! This morning I did the Dance Oldies Challenge posted in my Total Gym Group and the did 30 minutes rebounding on the reformer to the same kind of music.
@DrKelli which model do you have? I have the XLS but want a Fit!
Speaking of repairs our fridge is clanking and ticking loud and it sounds like a compressor or something. I sure hope not expensive. When hubby gets home he'll pull it out and I"ll make sure the coils don't have dust and dog hair on them and pray that will help. We don't want it overheating. I don't remember how old it is but its not as old as our 36 year old stove. I know that because they don't match. If I ever get a stove I'm getting gas I think. We have electric now. Tell me if the burners are gas is the oven also gas. Hope that's not a stupid question.
@JudyL sounds like a good Leslie workout with a good heart rate!
@Mmsfoxxie I feel bad for the Seniors living in centers and not seeing their families but at least they have each other and I think the directors provide many games and great meals for them. I don't see my dad that often but do call him every day. He even mowed his grass yesterday and he's 93. I hope I have his good genes. He has problems but his ticker is good. ( well he has a pace maker that he got 10 years ago)
Only 65 here and 40's tonight. That's sleepin weather!
