I am very interested in either of these weight reduction programs.  I have done research but still confused what would be better.  I would appreciate any feedback if anyone has experienced either one of these programs!  TIA!

Don't remember details, but recently there was a negative news segment on Noom.  Something along the lines of it being difficult to get out of it you choose to do so.

I'll speak to the ingredient stack in the GOLO supplement. The active ingredients are magnesium (a smooth morning move), zinc? I'm clueless there and chromium which is a mineral and will help with glucose metabolism. You can dupe these 3 at GNC for less than $20.

The rest are commonly called fat burners. Like caffeine, may give you energy.

I do take chromium, 200mcg, twice a day with meals. Cuts sugar cravings for me and does help control bloodsugar.

Honestly? Neither one. NOOM is in hot water with the BBB for overcharging and continuing to charge people after they've dropped their subscription. GOLO? Any plan that has you taking THEIR supplements as a part of the plan should send you running.

You don't need a "weight reduction" or "diet" plan. You need to make a lifestyle change. Move more. Eat less. Don't eat ******. If you're determined to pay for something, look in to a lifetime subscription to Lose It. I think it's right around $100.

I signed up for Noom's trial and couldn't get past all the buzzwords they use. It was constant.  I know that may sound stupid but it was like getting emails from valley girls. LOL  Or whatever you would call them now.  The little I did see was pure common sense life changes.  I'm with my tried and true Weight Watchers.

I want to thank you all for your responses and valuable input on this thread.  My forum friends, etc; you are my levelizers.  I have decided that Common Sense costs nothing, I know myself and I know what I must do to get this COVID weight off.  It's called getting off my b**t and getting reasonable exercise as well, planning my menus with needs to be eaten.  Ready...Set...Start...!!

@BornToShop You don't need either of these.  People are probably getting sick of me talking about it, but I strongly urge you to do some research on healthy keto.  Dr. Berg has a lot of good informational videos.  Yes, he does hawk products sometime, but ignore that if you aren't interested.  I've been following the keto way of eating since mid June last year and in 14 months I've lost 104 lbs.  I feel fantastic and am healthier than I've been in years.

No need to pay someone to tell you what you already know.  Or, purchase their magic potions.  Or, restrictive food choices.  Determination accomplishes your goals.  When you get it straight in your head, you'll take care of it.  Works that way with everything we put off.
